Ettifaq have cooled their interest in Jordan Henderson, for now. A deal is still possible but the Saudi side hope to get Henderson on a free or a nominal fee.

Swung their big bollocks around then the player suddenly decides to stay or they go somewhere else.
Whatever the issue is I’d be wary about dealing with these clubs who have according to at least one journalist all faced transfer embargos in recent years.

Sure but Henderson has an opportunity here to highlight;
a) exactly what Saudi are up to here with football
b) those human rights issues.
He can call it out for what it is and people will hear it. Gerrard had that chance and took the money.

I’ve seen it mentioned by someone else before he broke the news. I didn’t think the post was anything worth bothering about because Henderson moving to SA for huge money , if you had asked me that 15 days ago , I’d have imagined it as a joke
