Almost no one asks for guarantees and fewer players get them. Hendo will have had a conversation about where he fits into the plans for this season. That is routine and Klopp has made clear he does that with every player at the beginning of every season. Making a decision to leave based on not liking that answer (an assumption on my part of what will have happened if this story turns out to have legs) is nothing close to asking for guarantees
