Disappointing is the phrase I’d use. If he had finished up at the end of last season he could have had a send off. I mean he was due a testimonial which is rare these days.

If there was one player who I thought would have his testimonial, see out his contract and head back up to his boyhood club, it was Henderson.
I guess this sort of football romance is truly a thing of the past.

I never had much time for the Brazilians touting their “christian” credentials but there were two guys who I definitely thought of as decent honourable individuals…and now there is only James. Don’t let me down mate…
