Haven’t really read the thread, so whether that’s been expanded on or not.

If Jude doesn’t come it’s not the end of the world. I trust us to spend the money available wisely on players whi will make a difference.
100%. There’s no reason to be fixated on a certain player. Klopp’s legacy and our success isn’t based on getting the best player in the market, rather, it’s based on getting the player best suited for us. That’s why persons like Edwards are so important for us, we have to do a lot of groundwork to find/sign our kind of player.
We haven’t signed many players in the past who were very highly regarded. Yet, we have done very well. It’s not the question about whether we sign Bellingham (or Caicedo), it’s the question about whether we will sign the player suitable for us.
Are we really looking to sign him ? Would he be happy with no champions league.
Sign him and loan him to a team in the CL - simples…
I would love to see him here has he has everything, but the price might be too much for 1 player as we are seeing too many wholes in our squad where we need at least 2 if not 3 midfielders so we can rotate the engine room effectively and may be 1 or 2 CB’s and that may not be cheap because teams no our need is great.
I have a gut feeling that he wants to come back to England, he has been abroad for a few years now. He will have grown up on the Premier League, and as such I firmly believe winning the league here would mean a hell of a lot more to him than winning a LaLigue title.
Now that doesn’t mean he will necessarily come to us, but I think he will be playing in the Premier League next season.
From today’s BBC gossip column:
Liverpool’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham will not be harmed by their struggles this season as Champions League qualification is not a deal-breaker for the 19-year-old. (CaughtOffside)
Sounds like Jude is a proper fan, unlike some of the cryarses on the internet.
If we are expecting Bellingham to single-handedly propel to us top 3 next season, be prepared for a whole world of pain come next season if Bellingham is the only signing. Bellingham excelled in Borussia Dortmund with the help and cover provided by Salih Ozcan and/or a certain Emre Can.
We will sign two midfielders maybe one CB and one or two transfers in the Carvalho-Minamino range.
If you are expecting or hoping for more than £200m to be spend in the summer you will have to be prepared for a whole world of pain.
We are not that’s why most journalists are suggesting we are after two and several random CB links have appeared. Arrival of three fresh faces Bellingham being one will help.
He’s not coming to push the train he’s coming to drive the f#%$er
He’s gonna have to drive the train, fix the train, clean the train.
This lad is going to have some serious weight on his shoulders if he comes
He has the tools for all that
And before long, we will ask ourselves the same question, how the fuck is Bellingham burnt out just 2-3 years in LFC?
What a wum you are.
Not saying that Bellingham is going to happen but those who are quick to dismiss such an eventuality on the basis of our current plight, should remember that Casemiro, the cunt, chose to move to an Europa League side with a new manager, a dilapidated stadium, awful weather and not one season but years of struggling.
If what has been reported about Bellingham isn’t a complete fabrication, we stand as good as chance as we can hope.
We do have a track record of burning out players. Look at Fabinho, look at Henderson and look at TAA. To a certain extent, look at Mo Salah as well.
Henderson is 32, Mo is 31, Trent is fine and Fab well he’s 29, aged early.
5 years at the top, playing high pressure games burns most players out.
How many LFC players in the 70’s and 80’s played more than 5 seasons for us
I wasn’t borned in the 70s, but I guess not a lot of players in the 70s and 80s played more than 5 seasons with us?
