Has the 7-0 help overcome a nation in mourning following the cricket result?
What cricket result?
Hello, hello, just popping in. Nice to have an active thread from Asian part of the world. Plus, my Tarka daal has improved greatly and my family do love the odd Bollywood film.
Reminds me of the classic Jimmy Tarbuck joke:
Man walks into an Indian restaurant and browses the menu. Chooses his starter, curry, rice⌠but cannot decide on which side dish to have. He calls the waiter over and asks:
âExcuse me, mate, but whatâs the difference between the Tarka dal and the normal one?â
The waiter replies:
âItâs the same, only âotter!â
The old ones are the best.
Indian restaurant and English football fans always reminds me of:
To reply in your own words⌠err⌠your own TAN name rather, 7-0 win made me feel as happy as a Rooster in a hen house
Goodness Gracious Me did a role reversal sketch:
It rings true. We used to get fed up of eating Asian food and would ask our mums to cook English which were foods like Shepherds pie, fishermanâs pie, roast lamb/chicken, Lancashire hotpot etc.
When we were little, we hated Asian food. We lived on baked beans, eggs, fish fingers and any birds eye frozen products from Budgen.
Klopp is no otter
Apparently, Klopp is a huge Bollywood fan.
Does anyone remember eating tinned fruit with condensed milk as dessert?
