Looks like a good mix that team. The defense worries me a little I hope they have the communication and discipline to hold it together.

Honestly struggling to get excited for this beyond praying no one gets injured. Don’t get that team at all. A Salah or Mane injury costs us more than £2.5m

Excited to see some more of young Morton, more much needed minutes for Ox and Thiago too. BAck 4 will be ok.
I’m always nervous about our front 3 getting injured so there’s no difference in the feeling for this game

PL injuries said he was a couple of weeks.
Anyhow bit concerned about Salah and Mane the rest are fine for me, If Ox breaks down he was going to anyhow, Matip didn’t play for two weeks and the rest are fine, Thiago needs game time.
That bench compared to Saturday is quite amusing.
I reckon Origi is not yet ready to play full 90 after his illness. Expect him to come on early in 2nd half.
Though on second thought, Jürgen might be saving his energy to unleash him on the bitters.

I’m still cool with it. We’re at home and I want to win all home games, I feel they have an obligation to try and do that.
Plus I also believe in momentum and forwards in particular thrive on that. I’ll be a hell of a lot more concerned with AFCON. They’re taken out of our hands at that point.
