The problem is that Real’s bench has proven in both the Q/F and S/F to be very strong. Bringing on the likes of Camavinga, Rodrygo and Asensio towards the end really turned both ties for them. Our best chance will be to take advantage of a starting midfield of Koos, Midric and Casemiro who whilst still very good players, could get overrun if we play the right tempo

I don’t even remember us being in for Rodrygo

I think we’ll have to dig deep for this one personally. No way we will be underestimating them. If ever there was a game where we have to put the chances away it’s this one. Very nervous but looking forward to what will hopefully be a thriller to end the season on!

Why would you want it to be a thriller? I want a thrashing where they make mistakes and we bury them early. Then we hit them on counterattacks as they desperately try to get back into the game.

In reality it’ll probably be a tense affair and we have to stay switched on the entire match.

I just wanted to cram as many clichés as possible into one post :grinning::+1:t2:

Is it too much to ask for a relatively stress-free win? I’m scrapping the barrel at the moment.

Genuine story. In 1978 my father said that he would take my brother and me to see Star Wars as a birthday treat. It was May and it was still a very heavily booked film. Nonetheless he took us down to the Odeon and found it was relatively quiet a couple of days before my brother’s birthday. We got back in the car and started to head home only for my father to come to a screeching halt and take a U turn back to the cinema. I discovered some time later that the “quiet night” was the European cup final iat Wembley for which he had a ticket. I think we ended up seeing Star Wars the weekend after.

He ended up at Real Madrid not Dagenham & Redbridge… that’s just a silly article no offence to yourself.

No Bobby is a travesty.

Is a travesty greater than scandalous?

I want an easy win and then to be able to stick two fingers up to everyone in the UK, who are desperate for us to lose this game.

If it goes to penalties it could well be the last game of football that I ever watch.
