Gary Neville has done Klopp’s team talk for him. Liverpool may as well not turn up on Saturday, Madrid’s midfield will overpower them. Liverpool will not win. Just print his comments off and put them on the dressing room walls. Job done.

I think that when you’re playing your Real Madrids it can sometimes be be a game of two halves. If we win I’ll be over the moon but anything else and I’ll be as sick as a parrot. Madrid are a good team on paper so we don’t want any schoolboy defending from our lads. But we have Mo who is a no nonsense player with a cultured left foot who can turn on a sixpence and rattle one in. Mane has a big game attitude in his locker so he could turn this tie on it’s head. But at the end of the day it’s a funny old game, so who knows?

I mean I don’t remember us going for him, I’m not sure what Dagenham has to do with it.
I get Salah’s revenge mission as he was deliberately injured, I even get the team as a whole feeling like they have a score to settle due to how Karius was concussed and his career effectively ended.
I don’t really see how Rodrigo would hold a grudge against us. Trying to whip up motive where there isn’t any

I’m backing our boys to win as I think we have some unfinished business with Real Madrid, and we are a better team than we were a couple years ago. Apart from a couple of pieces of quality added to the mix, we have also built up some big game nous so we know our way around finals now.

Could be they haven’t trained yet. I think they like to train the same time of day as the game they’re training for, so I’m guessing late session today.

With Thiago he literally missed one training session, two if he didn’t today and he is likely doing rehab, if he can play he will play his match fitness will still be sharp.

I think if he is mostly there he will play, especially with five subs. If it were three subs I doubt we would take as much risk, especially with the possibility of extra time and needing fresh legs. But as long as Thiago isn’t miles off, I think we will see a good 60mins from him, maybe more.
