In two of the recent seasons when they ended up winning the league they were much worse than they are at the moment.

No hiding from the fact that they are favourites, but itâs not like our chances are minimal either. I had us as small favourites going into Paris, but also not more than that.
Could be different scenarios. Try and replicate a lot of the good stuff from last seasonâs game, but also add to it, try and improve. In a much better atmosphere, as we had no fans in 2021.
Hopefully itâs also not our last CL game at Anfield for a whileâŠ

1.The safety of the crowd pre kick-off unnerved usâŠ
2. Courtois and some of his jammy saves from our half-hearted attempts

I know itâs plausible with the amount of seasons Hodgson hung around for but have we ever faced three teams in row thatâs been managed by one manager and with that a former manager.
With the way managers jump about I assume itâs happened but I doubt by a former manager.
Good to see NĂșñez is involved in proper training.

We donât know if he only did that warm up part of it. Klopp said they would try and see how he reacts, is it painful, etc. Could be different in duels. But good sign that heâs there, maybe he can do it.

I took plays as starts from what Klopp was saying. I played in goal on a massive dose of Ibroprofen bloody footballers today.

That was still from the opening part which is open to the public, the first 10 minutes or so. It was a rock, paper, scissors game with a bit of sprint. At the end of the passing session.

When we were flying high and were better than them, they beat us. Now that we have been bad for most of the season, it stands to reason that we will beat them. Itâs football and anything can happen. I think Darwin Nunez will be a key player in this tie.
