Iām looking forward to this one. Big night, big atmosphere, playing against a big team. I know weāre getting spoiled in recent years and this is an annual event to play in the latter stages of the Champions League but we should remember not to take things for granted.
Get excited, enjoy it, we are more than good enough to win if we show up and play well.

Hahaha, you clearly missed me GR. As good as the Dirty Dancing show was in London Saturday night Iām afraid that will be the only Liverpool game I miss live.
There are legitimate reasons to be concerned about this one. Real Madrid have tended to get the better of us in recent seasons, and that has usually been against a Liverpool side that was more settled, and at a higher level, than the one that is starting to emerge now.
And yetā¦
There have been some signs that we are waking up. It is a big European night. The crowd will be well up for it. And our strikers, especially the new boys Nunez and Gakpo, are starting to find the net. Anything can happen.
Iām backing our boys to get a narrow win tonight, and then to finish the job over in Madrid. There is no team in world football that I fear. Of course we arenāt quite there yet, and this team needs to develop some more, but even at this current stage we have some weapons to hurt them.
Darwin Nunez is coming up the hill. Rapidly, I might add, too!

Being there at the Plaza Felipe II was one of the best experiences as a Liverpool fan. The first Boss night at Shevchenko park in Kiev was fantastic, but this was next level.
Couldnāt find a ticket, ended up watching it in a bar close to the ground (met Carraās dad!), but one of the best days/nights.
