Just like all parties are waiting until after Monday’s match. :see_no_evil_monkey:

Talks scheduled for 2pm Friday. Don’t want to start things too early.

As long as it’s not 2pm on Monday and the fax machine prevents it.

I hope someone’s made sandwiches. Maybe get some bourbons in too. Right time for a lovely spot of tea

So, he’s playing on the left in a back three.

Not sure if this info is useful to anyone, but I felt I should share it.

No idea what result I should be hoping for, is it more likely Guehi would join us if they win and qualify or go out?

I don’t think it much matters. Also this Danish team look shite.

I thought they were playing in Norway

Ah yeah well :joy:

Good karma and that, i hope they go through.

Confident Guehi isn’t going to stay on account of the Europa Conference League.

Palace through 1:0 on aggregate. Fortunately, we are looking to sign one of their defenders rather than a striker.

I think they get 20M for advancing. It’s nice to be nice. Guehi did his job. We didn’t force it until Palace got through. And I think the fee we will agree will be 35M.

All parties happy. (Well, happy-ish for Palace, as they are in a lesser European comp and look likely to lose their best defender, but it has happened in such a way that they will have money to reinvest, between the transfer fee and the prize money they have just guaranteed).

Love a short sentence followed by a bracketed sentence significantly longer

Its a double whammy losing Eze for Palace too. But they have recouped decent money from his sale. They’ve kept hold of Mateta, and now need to add a Centre Back. Sarr and Ese seem to have the attacking side of things well covered.

Wilf and olisse last year, Eze, Guehi and possibly Glazner this year…tgats a historical level of pillaging of quality. I don’t think even Chelsea lost that much that quickly when the club was struck by international sanctions, preventing them from resigning any of their out of contract players

EDIT: I fucking changed Wild to Wilf on my phone 3 times and it still ended up as Wild even after a second edit.

Don’t Brighton seem to go through that only a bi yearly basis?

Rumours of two defenders yesterday on gossip would suggest that they are resigned to losing him. They have no cover apparently as I stands. Problem in this situation is what happens at the weekend as if they are to sell him, Liverpool won’t want him being risked.

It will be Parrish who decides, I wonder if this is a shot at him as well. Due to the links of Man Utd. I do think it’s risky going into the season without another signing in this area. Due to the fact Konate will play every minute of the international windows as well as VVD, Gomez has a spell of injury every season and Leoni’s just arrived and is 18.
