Marc Guehi (CB) Crystal Palace

I normally avoid this transfer tv malarkey like the plague. Just thought I’d give it a go this time. What a big mistake! Only thing they’re good at is talking out of their arses.

They will be sniffing around irregardless of the Guehi decision. He will be seeing £’s for manager transfer.

If Gomez might be going to AC Milan for peanuts, scrap that deal and work something out with Palace. This should not be difficult!

Correct.

Guehi is going to get done. I would be gobsmacked if he isn’t a Liverpool player by the end of this window.

Is NOT a word!

They added it a few years back because of the prevalence in modern parlance.

Ducking neoliberalism

Lol, put it in just to see if it would trigger someone. It is though, just means the same thing. It’s an irredundant usage.

Apparently Gomez is staying. Guehi not happening then??

Might as well get an experienced CB on loan for a year if Guehi’s deal isn’t happening.

And not let Joe leave too

Gomez staying might also be about Konate’s injury but whatever the reason for that, I’d be happy if we sign Guehi and keep Gomez. It would be great depth across the whole defense.

Get Guehi in and keep Joe. Every chance Konate or Gomez leaves next summer anyway plus Virg can’t go on forever.

If we run one heavy this season and Leoni barely gets a look-in then I’m fine with that.

Usually I’d say 8 defenders is enough, but I have absolutely no idea what is Leoni’s level, so… hard to tell.

Or Joe, Connor and Ibou’s ability to stay fit.

I think the sooner we get Bajcetic upto scratch in terms of fitness etc , the better.

I can see him getting minutes as a substitute to both the CDM as well as the CB positions. And that hopefully decreases the dependence on Gomez.

Palace are also being linked with Disai of Chelsea. Apparently the two clubs have a friendly relationship, so maybe that’s where they’ll find their Prem-ready Guehi replacement.

Some website by the name of football.london claims that Chelsea are trying to hijack our move for Guehi. As he is a former Chelsea player, I would not be surprised by this.
