Sky Sport annoys me no end tbh, sometimes they’re so against Liverpool transfers that it hurts my ears. They’ve been saying for hours that it would be best if Guehi stayed at Palace, since they also play in Europe, etc.

I don’t know. According to Glasner, Guehi isn’t allowed to go. We see that Gomez is waiting to see if he can go, etc. Perhaps it still depends on Guehi’s medical?
It’s not really up to Glasner, he said it was too late to bring in a defender and they’ve brought one in, they’ve also brought another in a day back.
If Parish says it (and he isn’t that shy from the media) then fair enough.

You have to remember Dave knows less than a homeless man near Liverpool Central. It’s entirely possible but I would assume the scramble is related to this loan deal announced this morning as they’ve already bought one in.
They were short due to injuries but I believe this would mean 6 defenders for 3 positions if they continued 3 at the back.
