What we knew when we started pursuit 5 weeks ago.
As @mattyhurst said i wouldn’t pay them a penny. Come January if we need someone i’d get a loan for 6 months then get Guehi for free in the summer. I’d rather spend £5m on a loan than give Palace any money now. Their mistake could cost us points this season

Palace wanted Diomande when it looked like they were getting Europa. The player backed out after they got stripped off of that. They fucked around all the time without looking at alternatives for Diomande.
Glasner threw a hissy fit later and the owner just buckled down.

Have to feel for Guehi though. He’s been incredibly respectful. Done everything by the book only for his move to be denied because of Palace’s fuckup. As opposed to guys like Isak and Wissa throwing their toys out and behaving like entitled brats to get the moves they wanted.
