Marc Guehi (CB) Crystal Palace

In our defense, most of us were happy just drinking your booze and checking out your nudie mag collection.

It was @PeachesEnRegalia that insisted on rummaging through your locked cupboard and found your fury tailed latex suit and ballgag, so if anyone is to blame, it’s him

Why are you talking as if Glasner was in control of that situation? Parish went over Glasner’s head yesterday arvi by allowing Guehi to have a medical for us, and it was only through WHU hijacking CP’s target that the deal fell through.

I personally don’t have any ill will to Glasner or Parish. It’s Glasner’s head on the block if a key pillar of his team is sold and they go on to fail because of it. And likewise, Parish understands the cost of losing a high value player on a bosman. It’s fair for both to fight and defend their corner.

Come on mods do something more personal insults.

Are you saying you want more insults, but from the mods?

Faced with losing the player on a free in less than 12months, if weighed up against the cost of paying out for a like for like replacement, alternatively, CP could now offer Guehi a humongous contract to stay at the club beyond next season…

If the Glasner/Parish situation is not resolved in January when we can actually hand over some monies for the player, we may never see him in a red shirt, which could mean we have to push the shopping trolley down the CB aisle again.

To be fair, even if it did provide a chuckle, it overstepped the line.

It did. Disagree, but don’t insult. The line is fine, and we might all transgress…but its still a line.

Yeah that was odd wasnt it.
We want you to replace Guehi who is going LFC…But you wont get much game time?
I dont get it.

It’s possible another club might be in for him in the winter window as well, especially knowing his price will be slashed even further. We’ve got to hope that we are the most attractive proposition… Which we probably will be.

As for Guehi, it would be highly unusual for him to sign a contract extension when he’s clearly trying to leave and he’s so close to being able to fully control his density.

That is because Arsenal forgot to add the all important ‘plus £1’

I don’t think it is purely just about the money…CP with all due respect is Europa level and might not even win it. LFC on the other hand is always in serious contention for winning both the PL title and/or the UCL if the UCL draws are favourable to LFC.

Damn, I didn’t know Guehi is Mr Fantastic! hahaha…

The only more attractive proposition to LFC is probably those cunts in white.

There is no guarantee that he would want to play for them. Any offer would be in terms of increased salary rather than transfer fee.

I’ve rather warmed to Guehi in terms of his honesty and professionalism. If he still wants to sign next year, I would be more than happy to have him.

In the meantime, we still have Joe. I just hope he can stay fit.

I don’t have to transfer him from my fantasy team. Silver lining and all that.

Oh dear.

Its the excepted on here, point is clearly shown when you have a mod actually quoting the post.

Was so confident of Isak not joining Liverpool that kept him on the team as a newcastle player.

Leeds United?

The relationship between Parish and Glasner is untenable, in my view. In his post match interview on Sunday, he publicly stated that Guehi cannot be sold, that was the first warning to Parish It then looks like Glasner deliberately sabotaged Guehi’s move, by telling Igor that he couldn’t promise him much game time, so he went to West Ham. When this didn’t work, he threatened to resign and Parish caved in, damaging his own reputation. Glasner has made Parish look weak and let’s not overlook the fact that Glasner will be gone in a heartbeat, if the likes of Man Utd com in for him. Yet he feels it’s right for him to deny Guehi is big move.
