But can he kick a ball into a wheelie bin from 50 yards?
Well Downing has a reasonable enough career.
But to me this guy is basically run to the left quickly and put a decent ball in.
Solid player it seems.

Bit of that for sure but also a bit more too. He’s only 20 with just 18 months of top European league experience so it could easily go either way. The fact he’s gone to Newcastle doesn’t fill me with confidence for his future but hey, maybe him and Woltemade strike up the type of partnership that Downing and Andy Carroll couldn’t.
I think it might be a reasonable enough signing for them.
Replaced Gordon for less money and not much drop off in terms of output I bet.
Muñoz second game for Spain. As you can see he played ont he right and was alright.
As others have said, perfectly possible we use him there and sign a very good LW, if no top RW is available.
He’s playing on the left for the majority of this video
Yeah then they switched him to the right. He can do a job there I reckon
I think people were quite excited about Mane and especially Salah.
You weren’t around when we signed Salah, but opinions here ranged from “He’s a belter, get him in” through to “We’ve got Mane for the right - what’s the point”
I won’t discuss where I was on that spectrum.
Yeah I used to post on the official website forum back then before it closed.
Yeah I mean almost no player is universally wanted by the fans but I felt like a lot of people were more positive about the mane signing than I was.
Ultimately they were right and i was wrong
I think it’s going to be Jamie Leweling because of the lack of ‘perfect options’.
Plays for a club thats well known for being facist and is litteraly the great grandson of the dictator its a swerve from me
Those pesky facists!

It was a piss take, not sure if he is even very good.

Depends on where you stand on the field.
Find it difficult to say anything intelligent on this question because even if we obviously are in the market for another winger (and could be a big or our biggest move this summer), I’ll wait and see what we have in mind with other “pieces”.
Our team is far from formed to say that in midfield or forward positions we only need to solve who is Salah’s replacement and that’s it.
If that’s not carefully done, we might find ourselves with even more questions than we had last season and still have until our coaching staff decides and for us fans we see them on the pitch (hopefully already in pre-season).
The player who will play mostly on the right next season could be one of different types. And I know we had Mane on the right for a season before he moved to the left. That could’ve possibly ended up being the case if we had brought Diomande in (a season or two on the right and then eventually moving to the left, if he would prove he’s better than anything we have there).
Bobb.
That’s actually a really interesting shout. Similar to the conversation about Savinho, not thriving as a wide forward under pep shouldn’t be held against a player, especially a young one.
Clever player but I don´t think he´s quick or dynamic enough to be our main man out on the right. Decent dribbler but can´t really burst away from players.
Although he could maybe also cover Wirtz if he was out. He has a good eye for a pass.
Savinho I actually do rate and would be interested in.
I’d be interested to know the asking prices for Neto and Savinho. Personally I’d be inclined to take the guy who is 4 years younger, has better pace, and played in a system that I don’t believe maximized his talents. Think Savinho would be better in a more direct attacking team.
I’d guess Savinho would be the cheaper option, just because he doesn’t have the track record in the PL that Neto does, and I’d still choose him over Neto at even the same cost.
Neto is more a pain-in-the-arse than a genuine threat as an attacker, in my opinion.
He could be useful but he certainly would be a stopgap answer at best.
