Whats not getting talked about is the challenge on Trent thats a push in the back going on the bar set in the Chelsea game with the Nunez foul.

ignoring the foul on Dom (somehow),
Havertz has his arm assist himâŚhowever its no Odergaard level, so i assume thats where the confusion lies, and hes probably right, there is no consistency there, if they were allowed to do it last year, then it stands to reason this years even less obvious advantage gained shouldnt be an issue

watching in real time i must admit i dont think he blew the whistle till the ball was in the net, which is poor refereeingâŚ
if im wrong then im wrong, well done refâŚbut i swear i didnt see him go to the whistle until after the play and that made me a bit nervous.

The minimal shepherd on Trent wasnât a foul, the one on Dom is there but is softish, but regardless of all that, if that isnât a handball then Iâm not sure what is.

The biggest part is handball. If a handball leads to a goal, the goal is ruled out. End of. Thatâs the certainty we have in this instance.
Beyond that, the way I saw it was - minor foul on Dom, could be a 50-50, then a handball so the goal should be ruled out on that alone; then a bigger foul on Konate leading with the forearm into him, then a big foul on Trent, bundling him into the net to give him no chance to clear.
If they feel hard done by, good. It is a toxic narrative they are selling to themselves and it will damage their own prospects. Winners dig deep and win. Whiners point the finger and lose.
- The obvious exception to this is Man City. Their cheating has been systematic and there for all to see. They need to be kicked out.

He blows the whistle right when the ball is crossing the line of the penalty spot. There are 3 touches of the ball after the whistle. Konate is actually complaining to the referee when it is tapped in, having had time to turn and start walking toward Taylor when the whistle went.
Play was dead by the time of the handball.

Yeah, I wish I could do a screen capture with Fubo. The image (and sound) are clear, Taylor is blowing as Havertz is chasing the ball as it approaches the penalty spot.

Sorry, I know you are having fun but it goads me that anyone can think the 1st one is 50/50 he just goes through Szobs area to win the ball.
Anyone thinking that is not a foul, should be banned from playing football, watching football and definitely reffing football

Clearly a foul on Dom in the first place so really no debate to go any further. Happy we salvaged a point but it was a chance lost in the last 10 minutes to go for the kill with them without saliva, Gabriel and odegaard.
A draw benefits city of course.
Apart the foul on Szoboszlai, the elbow in the face of Konate and the push on Trent with no attempt to play the ball then yes it should have been a goal.

You can see Kiwior in the background start to complain to the referee when he blows his whistle, its about the same time Havertz is trying to take it past Kelleher.
I thought he had blown for the hand/armball,as that was when he start putting the whistle to his mouth,anything after that is irrelevant.
Edit:Just watching it back now on yesterdays Refwatch and Taylor goes for the whistle right at the time havertz simultaneously elbows Konate and handles the ball.

But Arsenal fans donât think jumping on a lads back when he is clear through on goal is a red, so I can see why they are annoyed.
