MacAllister has been crap for a while, but Jones has put together a string of absolutely awful cameos of late. Got pretty much the full game today and displayed all of his worse traits along with a complete lack of effort at times.
Oh one game, he will be delighted to be picked for.

Think his mind is already away from Anfield and I don’t blame him. He knows regardless of what he did today he’s still likely not to get starts. Demoralising.

You can’t expect players to come off the bench in form frankly especially when they get 10 minute cameos. Two changes and to a team that went hell for leather 3 days ago and even in that game at 4-1 up he waits until the 72nd to make a none enforced change.
Effectively a team full of clueless players led by a clueless manager which none of them have any accountability for crap they serve up and then they cry when dropped or booed.
Frankly it’s a mess.

He needs the team to be compact around him, so he doesn’t have space to cover.
I’ve been giving him the benefit of the doubt all season by saying that I think he’s carrying an injury. But he always plays every single minute.

I like the lad, but I couldn’t help but chuckle towards the end of the game when the commentator said ‘Liverpool need to move the ball quickly’ as it dropped to Jones.

At 1-1 we stopped playing and at 2-1 we stopped even trying. There was a sequence around 85 mins where they were just passing the ball around in our box and our lads were simply stood off them. I don’t really know how we managed to avoid an absolute hiding.
Three games : Wolves , Spurs , Brighton… One fucking point. I already suspected that Wednesday night was just another hallucination , but fuck me I never thought we would be that bad today.
Just sack him now and put everyone out of their misery 'til next season.

I think this is because when he does well, i.e against Wolves in the cup, he is then overlooked, hard to give your all when Arne just ignores you after playing well.
