Help me understand this word salad:
Is Wirtz struggling because our 2 wingers invert and therefore are always coming into his space and we don’t have the threat going on the outside?
Also, for him to be his best and same goes with Macca we need players to give and go, pass and move and to make runs in behind as this then aids in moving opposition players out of position.
We did look better when Robbo and Bradley were on the pitch and thy were making lots of runs into the box and getting success without delivering the end product.
We are still in the early stages of development and will improve as we gel more as a team, but the best thing is that we are 4 from 4 an we all see that our play can only improve.
BTW playing against a team that plays so deep is never easy and only becomes so when you get an early goal. The oppositions does it because it is their only hope and the easiest way to get a result and a result for them is a draw, we just have to be patient an so do the players.

I think Robbo was just better than Kerkez today. It happens and Robbo will be more aware of these type of games having played against it for several years now. Maybe that’s where Slot could improve if I’m honest.
However everyone has to get up to speed, it will take time to get up to speed.

It wasn’t a slight on Kerkez it is more what changed with both their introductions, I do hope Arne had a word with him about that dive, which did appear so when he was substituted
