The Dom incident was hysterical. He ignored a foul on Mo because he was playing and advantage as the ball fell to Dom. But then he blocked Dom off allowing the ball to go to a Chelsea player, and then he did it a second time preventing Dom trying to win it back.

Robbo had a tough assignment, though. Reece James was on a blinder down that left side with Sterling and Fernandez making runs off him. He wasn’t getting much support, especially in the first half.

Konate needs to do a lot in this system. Has to be very athletic at all times.
But that injury time attempt(s) when he tried about 7 times to drag back the Chelsea player had me laughing. He needs to either cut that out, or go all in with a rugby tackle.
No point doing half measures.
After initially pressing really well we went through a phase where the pressing player over committed and ended up the wrong side of play and resulting in an overload for Chelsea, we just need a few tweaks to stop this.

I felt that Konate and Mac Allister were our standout performers today.
Not sure how to feel about the result; we could have locked it down early (Salah’s VAR decision appeared to be correct but that would have been the 3 points for us quite likely), but I felt lucky to get the point in the end.
Not too bad a result but we need to do better, especially since this Chelski team isn’t likely to be contending this year.

Performance today aside, I don’t think that Trent is the right man for the Vice Captaincy? His attitude (IMO) is really poor. He gave the ball away today late in the game and Chelsea very nearly scored from it. When Ibou? was clearing the ball about a yard from near our goal line he was still strolling in the Chelsea half. Some of his short passing (2-3 yards) were going a yard wide of the intended target. He (again IMO) needs a proper challenger for his position to give him a kick up the bum.
