I dont think anyones ever wanted loads in and out in one summer.

but it left us very open in the middle. Would have preferred Dom in the middle at least.

My worry is not so much whether he starts him, but whether he unlocks him.
I was hopeful that loading the left side in attack (Wirtz, Gakpo, Ekitike, Isak, all favouring left-ish side) would help create space on the right for Frimpong and Salah to shine. But with these players still trying to find the understanding, it’s taking time, and Salah suffers. I don’t think he can’t do it, he doesn’t even need to get close to last season’s numbers, as long as Isak/Ekitike/Chiesa start adding more goals than Nunez/Jota/Diaz. Looks like it will take a while, but remaining hopeful.

Its funny how times change during summer he wasn’t making starting 11.

The summer looks more and more idiotic as these results start picking up. Zero balance. What we wouldnt give for Diaz and Trent right now. Look, Trent left on a free, nothing else could be done but we’ve replaced him with a polar opposite full back that Slot doesnt play.

Nothing more than a win vs Utd and we’re in big trouble.

yep. he has had a hell of a start…possibly our best player so far.

Salah has gone from playing with Trent to Bradley/Frimpong.

The Diaz sale is the most baffling one made no sense at all.

we just need to stay around the top three until players like macca and isak get match fit and the team figures out how to play together, then we go on a run

One day I will have free time to pull this through…
For now, enjoy. You didn’t ask for Nunez, Robbo, Konate, and co. to be shipped.

Unfortunately, he wanted to go

Did salah never play with Trent/Bradley then?

Just seen we had over double the xG. Obviously not the best stat on the planet, but again points to profligacy from our forwards.

Yep. Was thinking the same. I guess the hope was that Wirtz will replace what Trent brought, from midfield, and I believe he does have that quality to eventually do it, but right now it’s not working somehow just yet.

We can’t keep conceding late goals and expect to win.

The defence was unacceptable at crucial points in the game.

Players were stepping back passively instead of stepping up.

Perfect example was the Caicedo goal, if someone challenges it there’s no way he gets such a clean shot.

Just like our previous game versus Palace we could have gotten away with a draw but instead bottled the game late.

That’s 3 losses in a row. We need the break badly and Slot needs to go back to the drawing board to figure things out.

We can come back from this, but the whole team needs to get back on the same page. Just a very uneven performance from our Liverpool side led to that loss.

This gets on my nerves so he was under contract. Guehi wanted to go too.

How many games did he play with Trent and how many with Bradley? Seems a pertinent question and stat to understand why the level of understanding might be different with the players in question

Not bothered about the table. That’s just for wankers at this stage.
Just concerned that we’re yet to find our game.

On one hand we’re unbalanced and too open.

On the other we’re not creating enough. And when we do, we’re not taking them.

We had more than 5 big chances today

Explain the point.
