And I mentioned overall game, how many of Mo’s were penalties, Diaz was the one pushing us when our game was off, plus unlike some he does a shift defensively.
You have kept on about selling Diaz, when in going against what I said, it seems you didn’t realise how good he is for us and a lot, not saying you, were favouring Cody when only a few saw that Diaz was a better player.
If I had the choice to sell either Cody or Diaz it would have been Cody, saying all that, Diaz wanted to move and I do understand why we sold him, but we do miss him and his effort.

What are Chiesa’s numbers, a goal every 38 minutes this season and 0.67 goals per game for Liverpool.
Those stats are excellent, may be today Arne didn’t want to risk re-injury, but if that is not the case then I like many cannot understand why he didn’t get on the pitch.

But he simply didn’t have the pace to worry Estevao and their right back…It was also later shown that Robbo just simply couldn’t compete physically anymore.
If you cannot do stuff like defending at a higher line, the rest are pretty irrelevant.
The club cannot pull anyone off international duty if the matches are not friendlies.

Chelski were there for the taking, unfortunately our lads didn’t seize that chance. we lacked some cohesion sometimes, but I think, we can get back on top, because no other team is better than ours. I still think our players are in the gelling process, and we will come good, if not great. Ability is there, confidence levels not as high as we would like them to be, but we will get there. Belief and support from the supporters will raise the lads.

Belief and support, certainly. Patience, definitely. I would rather see performances like this now, as the team attempts to gel and we are at the top end of the table, with CL games only just started, rather than in the spring when a few bad results could be terminal.
It’s all well and good knocking Arne, saying he won it with Jurgen’s players, but with all respect to JK those players hadn’t won the league for five years. Yes, perhaps he was ‘lucky’ that our league rivals weren’t playing so well last season, but he got a generally consistent effort from the side so let’s give him time to bring this new team together and see where we go.

I couldn’t find the covered distance for the PL matches. These stats only confirm what has been obvious for months but has only come to the forefront now with the losses. That’s why I’m less inclined to attribute the current form to Jota’s passing (not even remotely suggesting that it hasn’t had an impact), or to the newcomers and why I think that this isn’t just some bad spell.
There have been passages of similar play in almost every game played in the second half of the previous season and in the first games of this one. Τhe good periods were enough to claim the points and cover the cracks, but the discrepancy between results and performances couldn’t keep forever. Either the performances were going to match the results, or the results were going to match the performances. The latter has happened.
There is a multitude of other factors at play as well, but this is the greatest concern. We are too easy to play against.

But this has been going on since we won the league back in April. Its like theyve mentally all checked out after winning it which was fine but cannot switch the mentality back on.
Bar Ali not one player has reached last years level so far.
Weve not been convincing in any game this season - 20 mins here and there but never the complete 90.
Teams are walking through us and we cannot defend as a unit. We cant pass properly and we aren’t attacking properly.
Its not down to a lack of talent it just looks like everything is to much effort as they aren’t mentally at the races.
There’s so many errors all over the pitch.
Its not as if a few tweaks can solve it as wvery player bar Ali (injured) and Ekitike are out of form.
Looking at the goals yesterday where the hell was VVD going? Leagues best defender doesnt close the player with the ball down just starts walking to his left.
2nd goal ok mayve Robbos fault - mightve been injured- but he showed Kerkez how to attack.
2 really poor goals to conceede but thats the story of our season. Its so easy to create chances and score past us. Look at Arsenals defending to ours…we are miles off being able to defend this title.

And, up until the Palace match, Gravenberch. After Everton he was being hailed as the best complete midfielder in Europe.

Macca needs to be pulled from the national team this time around. For har good of Liverpool and his own sake. The club should try to find a solution with the Argentine FA as he needs to build up his fitness asap, not travel half way around the world to play
