Post match: Leeds v Liverpool (EPL 6/12/25 5.30pm)

Yup , at 2-3 I was thinking this is going to be such an important win for us. Alas it wasn’t to be , and the manner in which we conceded that final goal should / will haunt everybody.

This… what is the structure? What is the plan…same fucking questions after every game. The opposition seems to have a good idea on how they want to play us. our team is all guesswork on what the strategy or gameplan is

Defensive fragility has cost us yet again. We will win nowt with the current defensive set up. Get it sorted FFS.

All great but they were beat.

Chelsea would have been fine if Leeds had gone 2-0 behind against them.

Is everyone looking forward to the Inter Milan game on Tuesday?

I had no problem with what he did at the time, but now it just looks like bullying as he picked on a relatively young player, but hasn’t done that to players that are playing worse and making more mistakes.

Slot “To go away with a 3-3, I don’t think that’s what we deserved. We concede without the other team even having a chance. It’s so difficult to play a game of football if you don’t even concede a chance and it goes in.

"We can only look at ourselves because we are the ones that are doing it. That’s the situation we are in.”… rinse repeat, rinse repeat. might as well copy and paste same for comments for all the upcoming games

We can score goals…we can score 3…but alas so can the other bloody team

Defenders are a joke. Full back and centre back needed in Jan.

I thought he had initially gone in parallel to the incoming cross to block it rather than make a tackle, which would have been ok, but he tried to tackle and if you get it wrong, which he did you have no excuse.

Well that was great.

Shit forgettable first half, besides a worldy we didn’t look like scoring.

Then they gift us a goal, we go on to control the game for 20-25mins, we decide to return the favour and then with the help of some terrible subs, we show how mentally weak and fragile we are.

West Ham, Sunderland and Leeds…lucky to come away with 5 points, & people think we’re 2 wins in a row away from being in the title picture? Ha!

At 2 nil, we were on the front foot pressing and making them use long hopeful balls.

We then make 2 substitutions and drop into a mid block, giving them time and space to progress the ball and to get more players forward in areas to hurt us or in our case hurt ourselves.

Why change in what is working?

If we are going to change to protect the lead drop into a low block with a 5 at the back 4 in front and 1 up top as our mid block doesn’t look secure as our midfielders aren’t combative enough.

Another 15 points and we should be safe.

@Sportbilly1966, even at 2-0, playing ok. no one on this board believed 100% we were going to see the game out and win the game. that in itself says a lot

Slot on Konate’s form: “Unfortunately for him he does a lot of things well but he has been a bit too much at the crime scene. Today it was a tackle that came from effort, he tried everything to block the cross.”

And an equally friendly reminder that saying that isn’t going to stop anyone from having a right go at Slot!

Frail, empty and static. Nothing doing.

Me and Redoverwater did LOL, I do think we would have but that individual mistake that keeps happening is just so gut wrenching.

When you have played a lot, you just know how it feels and the way we are it is so deflating, saps energy mentally.

Don’t get this, he didn’t try to block the cross he tried to win the ball and caught the player.
