Really astonishingly weird reporting on the lino incident so far. It’s being reported as either an “apparent” elbow, or focusing on Robbo’s claims of an elbow, as if we cannot see clearly what happened.
Most sources are describing the incident as Robbo approaching the lino, instead of the reality of it being the exact opposite. The lino was walking past Robbo, who stood his ground to say something to him. The lino made no attempt to get any distance from him, and instead walked right up to him and then threw the elbow, as if he was demanding that Robbo get out of his way as he walked towards him.
Several sources are describing it as bad news for Robbo if it does get investigated given Mitrovic’s recent ban.
This is a linesman who should never officiate a game again, Robbo’s yellow card should be rescinded and he should be given a public commendation for the restraint he showed
Think of it as another fan base now completely against them, this time a predominantly London one, a rising tide of resentment that up till now was just a much belittled scouse sentiment while most of the fan bases made no attempt to hide their glee at our misses over the years.
So nothing against the Arse, per se. They can just wait for City to be stripped of their titles, just like us. Take one for the team, as it were.

Why would a linesman approach a player…I thought they all met together in the middle of the pitch…why did this official even raise his elbow…he should be on gardening duties for the rest of the season…

Robbo getting booked for taking an elbow…up there with the worst decisions ever against us
Look at the footage. He had to walk passed Robbo to get to the center circle meet up. But he made a point of walking towards where Robbo already was rather than walking around him.
Be fair, Robbo did give him the eye and probably the gob.
Obviously Robbo’s giving him some verbals, but it is totally unacceptable for an official to strike out at a player.
If he’s not banned for the rest of the season something is very wrong.
Banned and transported to the antipodes for seven years, as a bare minimum.

Lets see what PGMOL have to say about it…how do defend a raised elbow to a player…if it was the opposite…the player would be banned for gawd knows how long…
I live in north London and mostly arsenal neighbours with a few spurs, the arsenal supporters all wanted city to beat us to the titles every year and even mocked us, one arsenal friend I worked with would not speak to me the next day after we trashed them over the last few years, so if city win the title I shall be giving them a bit back.
