When we were 2-0 down, I switched off and then watched a Musical instead to cheer myself up, but the storyline was abit depressing.
Saw the score, at least it was a decent 2-2 and the lads fought back and reading the post match thread it was electrifying.
And?
Apparently irony is dead.
My bad
What a shame. It turned out to be a cracking game. One that we should have won. If only we could have played other games with such intensity. The belief and skill flooded back. Like Jekyll and Hyde.
That was that Luke-Shaw-looking assistant. Probably his brother or his cousin. Someone mentioned steroids. Road rage. Heāll be banned from the touchline and moved to VAR straight away.
Go support someone else!!!
If you disagree thatās fine. Maybe express your view.
Support another club? Ok.
I kept watching the Sound of Musicā¦but at 2:1 I thought we had a chanceā¦
Looks like Virg watched that last night. He defended about as well as Julie Andrews today.
I was watching Rent! I never got round to seeing it on stage live. That will teach me to watch until the 90th minute.
We should have won it in the last 10 minutes but as older fans we are used to it
No they havenāt. They havenāt won anything yet.
So after that little exchangeā¦
My next question is where has that second half display been all season?
Weāre Arsenal off tactically or did we just simply wake up?
Exactly we have the community shield .
Not the first time at Anfield against arsenal something happens on the pitch it awakens the crowd and hey presto the players come to life.
That nutmeg by Trent for the second assist thoā¦smooth as fuck!! Messi would be proud of that!
Weird bloody season. A lot of mentality/confidence issues throughout the team. Needing the crowd to fill the gap in our confidence stores. But for some players that might be a permanent thing.
Not going to mention much about the refereeing shit show. Iāll bet though if that foul in the box was on Salah it doesnāt get given.
I get it now. Iām still not completely with this view but I get why you feel this way.
We fought City at their very peak and they needed blatant referee interventions to win the league twice against us. If we had a season like last season or 18/19 this time weād be blowing the league out of the water again. But just when we are having a blip (and letās be honest, with our means itās entirely possible, City are just plain financial dopers) this lot of chancers come in and pretend as if itās so easy? Nah fam not having it.
This is an above average Arsenal team which we would blitz under normal circumstances.
Why isnāt conceding a dumb goal enough to fire them up?
I know that you mean under Klopp, but itās three times if you include 2013-14.
