Michael Oliver you rat bastard. You’re heading the same way as Coote you piece of shite

Who is surprised at Oliver?
He has “missed” a few decisions against Liverpool.

I think he’s generally a fucking terrible ref. Arrogant bastard also. No idea where this ‘best ref in the prem’ thing came from

Used to be genuinely really good. Considered the best ref in the league because he was.

He has become exceptionally arrogant, with lots of rumours about him kicking off at VAR overruling him. And then there was his side hustle in UAE.

I think Anthony Taylor is probably the best of a bad bunch now.

I thought Taylor was by and large okay. The handball he could have easily been unsighted for. It didn’t hurt that Bournemouth lads were generally fair in their challenges.

VAR needs to be a specialist referee job.

That’s Bramley Moor off his bucket list then… The Prick.!

Fan arrested over Antoine Semenyo abuse at Anfield banned from every football ground in the UK.

Wheelchair user Mark Mogan, 47, was identified by police at half time and removed from the ground

They might be desperate for anyone to go this ground.

Apparently, he has history of throwing his chewed gum at people

Seems long overdue

I’ve seen a lot of comments from people who sit near him saying he’s an absolute bellend, constantly throwing abuse at players and stewards.

Lets not forget in the handball incident he only stops play because hes given Bournemouth a free kick for whatever reason nobody knows.

The most severe punishment would have been to ban him from every ground except Bramley Moor.

I wonder if anyone has ever had a word with him? The throwing gum thing is surely a public health issue.

I for one have no problems with him showing his preference for Newcastle. Lineker was a Leicester fan, Wright clearly displays his support for Arsenal, and Hansen made obviously no secret of his passion for LFC.

What makes Shearer unbearable is his cluelessness and at times, stupidity.

He’s a village idiot.

I dont think there is anything wrong with having a bias towards a particular club. There is a problem if he goes to fairly extreme lengths to justify or misrepresent something because of that bias.

Is that picture real? It looks like Heskey has been photo-shopped in.

Also the prick in the wheelchair looks less than impressed (which might explain a few things).

90s Football

This has been reported in a number outlets…! :person_shrugging:

A picture has emerged of the 47-year-old disabled Liverpool fan that has been arrested for allegedly shouting racist abuse at Bournemouth player Antoine Semenyo during the Premier League match at Anfield – this photo shows him with 90s/2000s footballer Emile Heskey. Mark Mogan, a season ticket holder who has been in a wheelchair since birth, was identified by stewards and eyewitnesses and escorted from the stadium at half time.

Mogan, who lives in a social housing bungalow with his mother and receives disability benefits, has been bailed for three months pending further investigation. Police confirmed he is banned from attending any football matches during this period. Liverpool have warned that if found guilty of racially abusing Semenyo, he will face a lifetime ban from the club. Reports indicate Mogan has a history of aggressive behaviour at matches, with some fans noting previous incidents.

Eyewitness Nick Collins, who was sitting nearby, described the incident: “About 28 minutes into the game, Semenyo goes to take a throw-in… this fella in Bay 7 decides to go over to him in his wheelchair and shouts something at Semenyo. Semenyo asked him to repeat it, and he did, then threw his chewing gum at him.” Collins added, “We missed the first goal because we were uncomfortable being around him. The stewards didn’t know what was going on. He was eventually removed by police at 9.01pm after initially refusing to leave.” Another fan posted, “Semenyo didn’t look upset, just shocked. The man in the wheelchair seems to have crossed a line.”

TV footage and social media posts show Mogan participating in wheelchair basketball and posing with former Liverpool players, highlighting his long-time involvement in sport. While some fans defended him or suggested he did not intend harm, others emphasised the seriousness of the abuse. Police and the club are continuing their investigation, stressing that racism has no place in football or society.

Yeah but Wright has also mellowed in recent years and given credit where it’s due elsewhere.
