May is long gone Boris is in charge now. :joy: welcome to the madhouse.

You have never said anything before on here, silent is a virtue!

There’s no argue about that.
What I’m saying is that it’s moot, because no team of those has played without the A field crowd, or having lost all available CBs and replacement CB (which in turn meant we lost essential Midfield players), and had to cope with that in a relentless season with a game every 3-4 days. After giving their all for 3 seasons.
I mean whatever you factor in, no other Liverpool team had to go through the combination of all these things, whose impact is exponential.
Like you said, they haven’t become bad players overnight, not Klopp has become a bad coach overnight. It’s just the exponential sum up of all things wrong having piled up. I don’t think any manager or team would have done better in our place to be honest.
Ergo, a moot point to say it’s the worst team we’ve ever seen. Rather, it’s the worst combination of mishaps ever seen in a Liverpool team, and brings results that are no surprise, however disappointing or record-breaking.

I don’t recall losing 6 home games on the bounce and only scoring one penalty. Four of those games lost to teams I consider to be, shall we say, not very good.

Odd that in a year when we’ve seen our CB ranks depleted, as well as losing Hendo and Fabs for stretches, it’s the offense that’s become bereft, even though it remains intact as far as personnel go, Jota’s absence notwithstanding. 10 goals in 12 PL matches this year is nothing I would have risked a shilling on.

Imagine picking out Keita when Gini and Milner put in those performances.

Gini did absolutely nothing of note yet again.

People keep saying that Thiago holds up play but fucking hell Wijnaldum has invented it, I’m not sorry to see him go this summer.

How are we going to replace all our forwards this summer?

Was reading the BBC preview of WBA vs Newcastle and it mentioned that Fulham, away to Liverpool as an opportunity for one of WBA and Newcastle having a chance to go clear. I thought that was premature based on our home. Form this calendar year…

Although mentioned before, one cannot undercount the lack of fans in attendance effect. Yes, every side has had to deal with this, but it has had to have been a constant subliminal for our lads in Anfield especially.

Anyone who has played a sport at any level, understand the impact of fan/spectator noise whilst in competition. No matter the number, it just pushes an athlete.

Certainly not even a main component in the overall disaster, but a factor nonetheless

Try and be a bit more constructive

Rather see the 2 Williams, Phillips, Origi go. Not good enough

I really disagree. A lot of teams in our position would not be seeing the drop in form we are now. The effort isn’t enough. A few players perked up a bit more today than we saw in the last game, but across the piece the commitment simply isn’t there. We deserved to lose today and have deserved to lose most our recent matches.

It might be a moot point, but the statistics can only lie so far. Our results and performances are relegation-level at the moment. Serious questions for the players and management. Ten PL games to go this season - we need a dramatic improvement and to win almost all of them if we want a chance at respectability this year.

I just can’t believe what I saw today! I’m flabbergasted! There are no more excuses, injuries or not, there is something wrong deeper!

We are not narrow our forwards just don’t propose anything once we have the ball (which is 78% of the time) lazy … … !

Yeah, I thought Nat played well today. He was my MOTM.

I’m not sure I can watch the next match. Its too painful.

Not odd at all. Everything that happened affects the delivery to our front three, and the number of chances we get. This in turn ups their stress level, as they need to score in the minimal chances they’ll get, which wasn’t the case before. The likely failure of which alters the confidence level and brings doubt.
Not odd at all.

We’re going to do what everyone else does: stick ten men behind the ball and hit it long to our sole forward.

Fortunately, that will be Mbappé.

One of our biggest problems is letting our opponents score first and then they sit back and hoof the ball up the pitch and defend like cunts.
