Post match: Liverpool v Leicester (EPL 10/2/22 7.45pm)

Yep. I admit I didn’t see it that way “in the moment” but you’re 100% right.

I do want to see how much intent there was. More than many think I suspect.

Then the big question is how does VAR not see it? Just poor.

It was a clear penalty for me. I don’t understand why it wasn’t reviewed by VAR. sometimes they look at these incidents, sometimes they don’t. It’s confusing and infuriating.

I’ve said this so many times over the years about defenders sliding in after a shot has been taken. Anywhere else on the pitch it’s a free kick. :rage::nerd_face:

Yup, said this exact thing about Jones in the Cardiff match.

Very enjoyable game, another controlled performance bodes well. Looks like we might be getting to the point where we can comfortably make 3/4 changes and not drop our performance level at all. Luis Diaz looks to be some player, he’s only been in the country a week and he’s putting in performances like that! He’ll tear the league apart next season. Diogo looking like a real number 9 in the box. Fabinho and Thiago on form. Elliot looks like he’s right back to where he left off. The future is bright.

They did look at it according to the commentary I was listening to. Just decided it wasn’t a foul.

Pretty damn poor if you ask me.

You and me too

Jota has become not only a real top notch poacher but also is great at running at defences and creating chances for others. In the past he has been a little inconsistent but hopefully that is behind him. Luis Diaz is an instant star . Good to have Mo back . Many of the team made an occasional mistake or got caught in possession but when you play with the intensity that we do that is bond to happen. Not a bad performance in the team really.

You probably correct…
No one has ever seen them in the same room at the same time eh :0)

It was reviewed by VAR…they review everything and the commentator on BT said they were reviewing it for a possible penalty…the ball was at the other end when he said it though…

The excuse was…the foul was committed after shot…think what you will:scream::scream::scream:
