Post Match: Liverpool v Leicester (EPL 22/11/20 7.15pm

You are aware there was an international break aren’t you?

That feels like one of those season-defining statement wins. Leicester was not going to get a better shot at the Reds than that, and must have planned to come in with some aggression. They just weren’t allowed to play, and really didn’t do much of anything until Keita went off.

they did fuck all even when Naby got off… We should have had 2 goals even after

@Mascot Take 3 second next time, it’s Jota, not Hota.

You see you weren’t as fresh as a daisey like me. I picked everything up and am 100% correct 101/101.
Your just a trouble maker now go and take a well deserved nap. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

All of this. Beautifully said.

And listening to The Boss post match he’s very steely, almost agitated and aggressive. He’s angry. There is an absolute ‘circle the wagons’, siege mentality about this club right now and this is an absolute brilliant managerial job he’s doing.

Rodgers Leicester are like Rodgers Liverpool rely on one person. Leicester its steptoe his Liverpool side was Suarez. Starve steptoe stop Leicester.

Apparently we are deep in the shit due to an injury crisis.

Klopp and the boys(some of them actual boys apart from Millie) are doing us proud.
And Brendan played his part well.

This team never lets us down when the chips are down. They always find a way. That’s why I love this team.

We truly are the mentality monsters.

Yeah, the high line was understandable with Virgil in the team but even before his injury it did seem a little creaky. His injury made us have to change it, though, and I think it may have given opponents a new problem in terms of how to get in behind us, whereas they seemed to have it pretty well worked out between, say, February and now. Fingers cross we can put a run of clean sheets together like last year around this time (when we started in August and didn’t get our 2nd clean sheet until December!).

You just run out of superlatives for these lads. Unbelievable. Knackered, down to the bare bones, and yet we give the league leaders an absolute pasting. Could have been 6 or 7. And that was a fucking goal, 11 mm my arse.
Jota immense again but most of them were tbh. Made up for Bobby. Milner is from another planet. Only downside is the injury to Keita, see you next year Naby.
Wrap them in cotton wool and hopefully have a couple back for Wednesday.
Up the fuckin Reds!!

Brenda on Five Live spewing out the same old stale and tired excuses in his monotonous tone…
Him and Jurgen are like Chalk and Cheese…

Well we thoroughly got that miserably embarrassing result in our last match out of our system. Who’s next? QPR innit or someone in that category. 5-0 I’m wagering.

@Alright_Now From the sounds of things I was correct not to read the prematch gloom and doom thread. Ok I haven’t a clue what most posters are going on about but I have nothing to criticise except our axial play, that noone else is picking up as they are so concerned that some where writing us off, apparently, and they have descovered we actually have a squad of players and a manager called Klopp. As normal swipes at what posters said 2 weeks ago is more important than what went on on the field today!

Even then they didn’t do too much. They had about 10 mins of the game when they could have got something out of it.Not good enough for a team who feel they should be up there competing at the top end of the table.
