With the ref cutting that part of his good work out, that just left his running to press the player.
In hindsight, Rio for Lewis could’ve been interesting if it happened just before the Grav sending off.

If we look at entire highlights of his career with LFC, he looks best when the opposition presses him hard and the occasion long shots. What happens when the opposition deliberately stands off him like today? He gets the freedom to run into a carefully set trap. Block tackles fucks him up massively as he just do not have the vision and passing ability to make the opposition think twice. He only has agility that is only good for skipping passing players flying tackles into him.
His playing style is like a prime Thiago. However, Thiago backs it up with very sharp passing both long and short and the brain to fool the defender into commiting.

I got sick of Neville feeling sorry for the Cheaty players..why they knew their contracts were iffy…fuck em…that’s what u get for having. At least two players gestured to the ref for a Second yellow on the red card incident, the same thing that was a bookable offense in the first half when the ref decided not to book guehi for purposefully grabbing the ball to stop an attack on the edge of their box.
That being a bent performance is actually better for the league than that being the legit best a supposed top ref can come up with.
What is even the point of playing this lot? We spend by what we earn and when three starters are injured we are stuck playing kids against burly men who are freely allowed to haul them down.
