Post match: Liverpool v Man City (EPL 11/10/26 4.30pm)

Well that ruined the last night of my holiday in Crete! Kavanagh, the Manc, caved in to pressure from the City players. Not every foul is a yellow card, No excuse though, for the way we capitulated after the sending off.

Elliott is a bloody cheat and the dodgy ref easily bought it.had it been the other way round Elliott being an England player would have got off Scot free.

You see I think I can all things considered. If it had been any one of the other 18 teams then yes but this lot are cheats and he they are getting another decision there way.

I turned it off when they scored I wasn’t wasting my time with it.

Could understand it tbh. Was the combination of the red card and their quick goal. Players and fans had gave everything and that sucked the energy out of both

Not to diminish Iraola at all, but I wish Klopp had been managing today. The extra fire that he would have brought would have been something to see.

This is also why i wanted Grav to be a little extra careful while on his 1st yellow.

The ref was just waiting for the opportunity to send him off.

It would have been the same ie fire and brimstone the first 60 min then after the red card their arms would have gone down with the attitude what is the point.

Aye, As I said in my first post game, I think the last 20 mins or so was always going to be tough. With the way the two sides play, the players we had out and what that meant for options off the bench, it was always likely the we’d have to be hanging on a bit at the end to get a result over the line today. That was how the game was shaping up when they bring on a player like Doku who requires being double teamed. He was already up against a FB restricted by a farcical earlier booking, and then we go down to 10? It was a situation custom built for Doku and their first two goals came from exactly that situation.

I get the anger and frustration at it all, but this really does feel like a game where you just take the positives and try to forget about what happened late on. For more important to me on whether or not our season will be a success is if we can get anything out of the 400m quid front line.

I don’t think that the heads would have gone, after the red, with Klopp on the touchline, but possibly, even so, I would have loved to see Jurgen’s face, once Kavanaugh gave that second yellow. Kavanaugh would have pissed himself.

Has anyone on here seen Liam Gallagher’s posts on X? I apologise if it’s already been mentioned, but I’m pissed. Anyway, they’re quite offensive..

Thought he would post something…another cheaty dickweed…

I can’t remember, is he the one that rips off Beatles tunes, or his talentless brother who can’t sing them?

And when they look into his transfer to City and where the money went!
