Why is he calling it a red card? Unless I missed something, surely it was a 2nd yellow card and probably deserved. His first one was nonsense though… never a yellow.
Barcola was a panic buy. I called it. I have never rated him and couldn’t understand why so many were getting so excited. I really hope I am proved wrong about the lad though.
How often do you see second yellows, except for the most obvious of professional fouls? I think that’s his point. There is no way a City player gets a second yellow for that.
Game was there to be won until that fucking filthy, corrupt manc cunt got involved.
It sickens me that nobody at this football club has ever called out that fucking gormless, cheating rat for what he is.
BTW: Anderson should have got a yellow card for holding back Gravenberch with both arms early in the second halve just before Wirtz had a shot. Ref (rightly) didn’t give a foul and signaled play on, but should have given him a yellow retrospectivly.
Just one example how one sided the refereeing was.
What a load of shit to wake up to, and that after three months or years or whatever of international tripe.
I’m seriously starting to lose interest, and that’s after 56 years supporting our club. The corruption and cheating is ruining the game.
The crowd were great, the team were fine, considering the injuries, but the obvious cheating made a mockery of it all.
I actually think Grav was playing really well, totally rampaged through the midfield on several occasions, both yellows were soft. I gave him the mom too.
I’ve always been against this idea of refs being corrupt and deliberately giving decisions against us. Not any more. That was the most biased officating I have ever seen. Neither of Grav’s fouls were worthy of a yellow, for the first one there wasn’t even any contact. Most of City’s attacking play was down our right because the ref had very helpfully given our RB a yellow early on for waving an imaginary card at him. As others have said, City players did the same when Grav got his second yellow but of course there were no consequences for them.
This match also highlighted how poor our player recruitment has been. Two first choice midfielders and two forwards unavailable and we’re reduced to using players whose PL experience should be counted in minutes rather than in complete games played.
This game also showed why some sanction, preferably a huge points deduction, should have been handed down with immediate effect. City are playing like they think they’re going to get away with their cheating. Their moronic fans certainly seem to think that.
