Wirtz and Ekitike are to good. Simple as that
A Jekyll and Hyde performance. Shite for 30 mins and excellent for 60. I’ll take that as we won convincingly.
Only a matter of time before Real Madrid try to poach both of them.
2nd game on this year. Absolutely miles better than the other game I went on.
First time this season it felt like the energy in the ground was collective and in a positive way despite the set back to going a goal behind.
Just felt like we’d will ourselves back into the game with belief.
Love to see it.
I’d hate for us to have a disagreement M ![]()
So Isak isn’t allowed to laugh now? Pathetic really isn’t it.
He did manage to pass the ball to a red shirt, for the third goal.
Real are wank
I thought Ibou played without fear today, maybe he has realised after his father passing there are worst things than making an error on a footy field, far more commanding today Ibou - YNWA
I change my mind every week on Mo

"Hugo Ekitike played really well and I have said he is a top player and that has shown today.”….Eddie Howe
please please let me troll, just one time, let me troll
That was a real shot in the arm today. Two teams going at it, full blooded, passion for days, and we ran out worthy winners by a margin. Get in.
Newcastle started fast, and for 25-30 mins I thought oh no, here we go again. They got the lead and then there was a bit of fear that we would shrink. But that’s not what happened. We showed a lot of fight, against a quality CL side and also against a fat official who called it so unevenly.
That was so pleasing to see. The fight. It tells me that the conclusions many are reaching about Slot, that he will be done here, are a bit hasty. Whoever the psychologist was who said it would take until about February, after Jota’s untimely death, before the team started to get into gear, might have been spot on.
Anyway, Ekitike and Wirtz were brilliant. And Konate’s goal was one of those moments that transcends sport. After an inconsistent season I hope he felt the love today. He had a really good game and the goal was such an emotional moment.
After the Bournemouth loss we have had a really good week. Ten goals, one conceded, qualifying for the CL knockout stage with ease, and beating a strong opponent in the Prem to stay in the fight to finish in the CL spots. Onwards and upwards.
I was going to mention in game about handling the set pieces well, but thought better of it as I didn’t want to tempt fate, Virg was immense in that respect with the amount of times he attacked and won the ball
Maybe so, it won’t stop them taking our players though.
I thought it was such lovely tribute by Eddie Howe. I really like him as a manager. I hope he becomes England coach one day.
fuck eddie howe
