Post match: Liverpool v Real Madrid (UCL FINAL 28/5/22 8pm)

Few mates from home travelling over from Ireland for it. Should be good

Think we would have to sell if not renewing imo. Losing Mo on a free surelt we can’t afford to let other players ago aswell without a fee

There was plenty of fans from Ireland in the city centre today.

Well, the entire passage of play needs to be looked at though. Why is valderde allowed so far up?? Did the offside trap work? If not, do we need to review it?

They probably deserved it after beating PSG, Chelsea, city and kept a clean sheet tonight.

I’m having an evening G&T sitting out in the garden, enjoying the sunshine with the wife. Im not a big drinker, but there will be a bit more of that this evening!

Gutted to lose the CL. And still so proud of the team. And also so proud to be a Liverpool fan. Watching the pre game, seeing the crowds, loving the passion.

This is special. And we will give it a bloody good go again next season.

You win some you lose some, 63 games and they pushed it all the way, I’ll take the domestic cup double and No expanded club World Cup involvement at least

Yeah took over Dublin airport chanting on the tannoys I seen on twitter.

Thing is who wants him now? Even those dumb cunts at Barca would think thrice offering anything above 30m pounds for him, given his injury record.

Agree, I said it when Fab got injured, we had got where we were with rotating and then it stopped and the lethargy started to show especially in midfield and Mo

And on performances didn’t really deserve to win any of those games

Agree but they won them all playing shite football.

The state of some of you, desperately hunting for a scapegoat.

Why is it so hard to accept that we’ve had a monster of a season, and that the tiredness was going to show? That their goal was just immense luck, that if we had scored that no one would be commenting that their right back was shite?

Biggest scapegoat for me the Premier League and the cup competitions make it so hard for English teams to conquer Europe.

Our boys gave everything but couldn’t beat the tiredness

Every league game has been like a cup final as you can’t afford to drop any points to compete with City.

It’s been an exhausting season as a fan I don’t know what the players feel.

I hope the players and the staff have a good and well earned rest.

Only downer is that World Cup right in the middle of the season!

A statement here by Gerald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior of France, from the control room at Stade de France.

He blames tonight’s events on fans with fake tickets and claims fans attacked stewards. He also thanks police for mobilising.

His statement translated reads: “Thousands of British “supporters”, without tickets or with counterfeit tickets, forced entry and sometimes assaulted the stewards. Thank you to the very many police forces mobilised this evening in this difficult context.”

Well fuck me sideways…what an utter load of tosh that is. The pictures and videos don’t lie Gerald you utter bellend

I mentioned this earlier. Now that JK has gotten the domestic cup monkey off his back just play kids all through.

Still some fans are being tear gassed in the fanzones a while ago.

Yes. Which he didn’t know at the time. Other than that slip he was the only Liverpool player who can say that he did his job well. Clearly MoM.

As others have said, next season it should be back to playing the kids in the domestic cups and focus on the comps that really matter.
