Post match: Liverpool v Wolves (EPL 6/12/20 7.15pm)

I think the foul was awarded for boot high studs showing (still that’s often a yellow).

Amazing to have fans back in the stands. It makes a world of difference. Anybody who claims Klopp isn’t the best in the world needs to check themselves. With the number of injuries we have to world class players and to keep ticking on? Absolutely phenomenal.

Oh and Coady can piss off. He went down easier than my ex at uni.

Edit: And look what happens we went get time to actually work on things instead of playing in survival/recovery mode.

Makes a mockery of the flat performances against Atalanta and Brighton recently.

Just strolling to 4-0 wins against what’s probably the 5th or 6th best team in the league with a kid in goal, at fullback and in center mid. Fuck knows what we’ll be like with everyone back fit.

Thought Hendo and Gini were great, Henderson just getting MOTM for the two assists and dragging the team forward throughout. Would be nice to see Gini sign that contract too.

4:0 against a decent side. I’ll take that. Went for Kelleher as MotM as it was another spotless display from him. We still have to see how he reacts when he makes a mistake or has a bad game but the fact we don’t yet know is real first world problems.

This game was really won in midfield so I went for Hendo and Gini for my other two options. Gini’s goal was stunningly well taken. You will see few better throughout this season.

I actually thought he had been caught on that chip but the lad has a great leap.

Yeah not a big fan of the need to be seen to be completely unbiased, reasonable and understanding of blatent cheating while we get shafted week after week:
Oh yes, I can understand why Connor Toady felt the need to go down, it’s a natural reaction. NONSENSE!!
VAR worked today, thank you Premier league for not awarding a penalty that wasn’t a penalty. NONSENSE!! Even the guy on VAR new to give that peno would be a step to far. But make no mistake about it. If Mane’s bootlace would have brushed against Toady’s stud, it would have been awarded.
Harry Kane is a marvellous footballer, wonderful to marvel at. NONSENSE, he’s a cheat and he swears on his daughter’s life over things like a goal.
Chris Wilder, poor chap. He’s not having a go at Jurgen, he’s just protecting his own club. NONSENSE!! Glad they’ve got 1 point from 11 games.

Oh and Arteta will get the sack soon. His amazing tactic of play pass the hot potato around at the back, then hit a long diagonal ball to your fast winger soon got found out.

Oh and why is everyone bottling it week after week about teams we are facing?

… and I thought we had played well and won. :astonished:

I’m not sure everyone is really bottling it. I understand your point though. We, as a group, do seem more concerned going into matches. Perhaps that’s understandable as the league is tightly bunched at the top and we’ve been fighting a cruel spate of injuries. Even the most optimistic would have struggled to foresee the collective progress of our youth, the upside of Jota, and Fabi’s seamless emergence as a CB. Believing takes faith and sometimes evidence, and we’ll dispel worries as the latter grows in abundance (as it is now). I do think posters who worry here do generally provide supportive arguments.

As for the negativity. That’s more difficult to explain. It sometimes bothers me as well. However, we live in challenging times. It’s difficult to be part of an online forum and understand all that others may be going through. Society is battling illness, death, evictions, anger and sadness. Sometimes life’s difficulties seep into posts. And that’s okay right now.

We’re in this together. All of it.

Might be old news by now but I thought this was interesting

Great game today and I was impressed with every player and thought it was hard to select a Motm. Our midfield controlled the game and all 3 were excellent.

At the back Neco got an early yellow but hardly put a foot wrong in possession today, CB’s dominated, loved Joel’s celebration when he scored and Robbo is bionic.

Up front the usual terrorising of their defence each in their own way.

Well done fellas thought this would have been a difficult game.

p.s amazing what a 5 day break between games does to energy levels.

Just realised that the last goal (Sadio goal or counted as own goal)was something like 32 or 33 passes.

Chris Wilder has got a good point actually.

1-1 home draw with Fulham I believe.

It’s a good point about how much better we look when we can actually prepare for a game. The season is going to be a combo of being able to prepare, and just going out there and trying to get the points even though we aren’t quite ready to play. It will be fascinating to see what that yields, especially with all the injuries.

So proud of the boys and thankful for our leaders.

I admit I was furious at Curtis on two occasions (counter attacks), but I’m now happy that this lesson will be the most precious moment for our managers to point out to the kid…And boy will he learn the right way.

Oh and I really enjoy reading all prediction sites how Citeh is almost twice as likely to win the league. Love it. Stay the course please and keep us as the underdog.

I recorded it on my phone because I knew Peacock would never have it as part of its replay.

So basically Semedo has seen his teams fail to score at Anfield while giving up 8 including an OG?
