Found elsewhere as proof of corruption

Fab has been well below his best this season. I think with two good midfielders in there with him, like Caicedo and Bellingham, he would offer more. He is also a bit younger than Thiago, and slightly less injury prone. So for me, if the midfield cuts go deeper than contract expirations, I would go with Thiago as next in line for the exit.

Mind you, Thiago is brilliant on the ball, and there’s a lot to like there, so it’s not a hill I would die on.

The main thing is two good additions are needed to that midfield, to be mainstays, for the most part, and then they can help the old guard to give the best of what they have left, while also giving a platform for the younger midfielders when they play.

Someone who had a go at paint while pissed?

it shows the Wolves player was onside even though the commentary stated there was no camera that covered the player and they had to rely on the assistant ref to flag it(which is his fucking job)

It’s a conspiracy to stop Wolves winning the FA Cup,but don’t tell anyone

Why didn’t ITV bother showing the offside when VAR was reviewing it? As it stands we still don’t 100% know whether it was given on Nunes or on the goalscorer…all we have is a few peoples word for it. I guess it had to have been on Nunes because the goalscorer is clearly on when he flicks it in from the shot.

The way it’s shown in European competitions on BT is by the best I’ve seen…clear as day and no room for debate.

Btw…ouch.

Mascot stop playing double standards goodness sakes, if it was the other way round and Ibou headed it you’d be 100% saying Jimenez shouldv’e been off how’s it not offside. We both know this.

What, this lad?

Craig Stephen Noone is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for A-League club Macarthur FC. He has also played professional football for Plymouth Argyle, Exeter City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Cardiff City, Bolton Wanderers and Melbourne City.

:thinking::wink::nerd_face:

My only goal this season, to be honest, is to finish top 4, if only because of the incoming revenue and its ability to help us rebuild the midfield.

Bowing out in the FA Cup would only help us in that regard.

Picture appears to be after the second header.

Must have been the twat I was listening to, wouldn’t shut up about it. Living in the past like Everton.

No reasonable person would claim we get no decisions. Taking a game in isolation is proof of nothing. Mo could get 10 freekicks in one game, but that doesn’t mean over the last 6 years he has been treated fair. You’ve got to look at it over a longer period.

All it takes is an ever so slight unconscious bias towards the opposition that over a course of a season it will make a big difference (see the times we lost the league narrowly to $hitty).

I’m not saying there is any conspiracy etc. Just that looking at the black and white stats over a long period of time, there is a slight tilt in one direction.

Just like in a casino where the house edge tilts the favour over the long run. Tomkins’ analysis shows discrepancies that cannot just be brushed away when we get the decisions from a ref/VAR.

The more I watch us play and the weeks go by, I think my only goal for us would be to finish above Everton.

The FA dont share the images they are using with broadcasters the same way the PL does. The broadcasters are then left to guess at what is being reviewed and use the best camera angle they have to show it (which are different cameras than are used for VAR)

Helpful.

In that case wouldn’t the smart thing to do is remove VAR from all EFL/FA cup games?

But surely it can’t be true for the PL…otherwise how do Sky show the actual feed from the VAR?

As I said, PL share their actual feed with the broadcasters including the final digitized product. The FA doesnt.

Ah sorry misread that first line…bit late in the night and I’ve not had my vitamin tablets.

I suppose the only question left to ask is …why?

Because they’re twats I think is the most reasonable answer.

I really hope that Webb focuses on improving the transparency of the process as he says he wants to because even with the PL doing it better than the FA it is still shit.

All VAR is going to keep doing is make people lose their sanity and question their own principals of the game.

Seems like all the bodies have their own way to use VAR except for the EFL who don’t use it at all. (probably financial reasons more than anything else)

The way I see it, it’s been trialed and tested for almost 5 years now. It hasn’t done much by way of improving the game…so scrap the fucking thing.
