I am also going to give some plaudits to Trent as he never gave in against Doku, and Konate was my 3rd choice of motm by supporting him by covering the cross or pass.
1st two choices for motm were obvious others as well

I think it shows that we have a manager who’s willing to be pragmatic for the larger picture.
Not a dig on Jurgen but jurgen would have pushed our team to score 5 goals today. Slot made us dig in. Ensured our lot didnt tire ourselves out. And still had enough to create atleast 5 clear goal scoring opportunities.

I found that a rather hard watch, but it is one of the best defensive displays that I can remember. It’s encouraging that we can shut up shop like that when needed.
Mo MotM for me for securing the points. In fact there were no bad performances there, but our combined defence was impressive.
Anyway, 11 points clear until Arsenal play. Just enjoy that for a moment:

The post match with Mo and Dom is glorious. So focused on what they still have to do, yet so willing to rub each other
- didn’t hear the “now you’re going to believe us” chant because he was too tired
- Admitted the first goal was a mistake as the ball wasn’t supposed to end up there
- Dom says it would be nice for Mo to return the favor more often
- Mo rolls his eyes and says he’s a kid and has time to learn
