Everyone talked about Klopp getting too powerful and not leaning enough on data and recruitment structures toward the end. But I’d argue the opposite also happened; the recruitment team, including Michael Edwards may have started believing their own hype a little.
Data and analytics are important, but they don’t build winning teams on their own. Leading a dressing room, setting standards every day, managing personalities, and creating belief over multiple seasons is something much harder to measure. Klopp’s real brilliance was molding them into a team that could compete at the highest level consistently. That kind of leadership can’t be replaced by models, spreadsheets, or recruitment strategy alone.

Okish 25 minutes but then city bossed us off the park, the clueless fool left our real goal threat out wide for his 68 minutes on the pitch. It’s embarrassing watching him squirm on the sidelines. God help us on Wednesday night.

They’re playing for Liverpool Football Club, not Slot. Anyone with that attitude can fuck off in the summer regardless of who they are.
The rot set in after the Spurs game that clinched the title. All acting like fucking big-time Charlies, Slot included.
Since that day they’ve been a fucking embarrassment to LFC and themselves. Some of us called it at the time.
We need 10 new players in the summer to replace the fucking crocks, crabs and the natural turnover like Salah, Chiesa, Endo and 1 or 2 others who will be leaving. We wont get 10 but that’s what we need.

The Champions League game we lost in 2019 against Barcelona. I never thought in my wildest dreams, we would win that game with a 3-0 deficit, the team which had Messi, Suarez, Coutinho, Piqué etc.
Klopp must have said something right to make his team not give up, you can’t transform a motivational half time team talk to an analytical data spreadsheet or analytical models. What a magical match that was. That was our true Champions League final.
