Post match: Man Utd v Liverpool (EPL 24/10/2021 4.30pm)

3 points in the bag, and a very satisfying one at that! Let’s not get carried away though, we’re barely a quarter into the season!

These jokers are kind of a shamble, but no point basking in that now that 3 points are in the bag (yes its just 3 points, hahaha!). Not too long ago we were in a much more wretched run (I think 1 point out of 21 available?)!

Looks like we were playing outclassed thugs.

Viewing the replay, I was shocked at how Ronaldo was kicking the ball on our player on the ground repeatedly. That this kind of violent behavior did not result in a red card should be brought to the attention of the Referees’ Association or whatever they are called. Anthony Taylor should be made to answer why this was so. Bloody disgusting behavior by CR7 and disgusting performance by the ref.

I thought he ran like an albatros with a very big head, then I noticed all Manures players were like albatros’ with big heads, how do you tell them apart?

He moans on and on about McTominay not tracking runners then goes “Paul Pogba is sat in the bench!”

Has anyone told him how bad Pogba is with any sort of defensive duty?

no doubt, the ref helped them by largely ignoring their brutal actions on the field. The one exception was when VAR got him to rectify and make the correct decision on the red card. I think, the ref today saw ol‘ purple nose in the stands and decided to keep his head still stuck up ol‘ purple‘s nose arse. Sincerely hope the refs association take decisive action on such bias

Just imagine this with a big head!

Has anyone told him how bad Pogba is.

Fixed it for you.

I know Pogba can do world class performances but increasingly he’s reminding me of Balotelli.

lol , another convert. He’s essential viewing as far as I’m concerned.

The media has brainwashed all of us into believing this. He’ll have one good moment which most footballers playing in top leagues have and every French or Manc journalist will have an orgasm. Every time I’ve watched him, he’s looked above average at best.

He can look good playing for France , but can anyone honestly remember him putting in a MOTM performance for Utd when it mattered ?

Completely agree - and not only that, he is a toxic presence in the dressing room. He is absolutely made for Man Utd.

I hope him and Ole stay there for another 5 years.

Compare Pogba to Milner…Milner pulled his hamstring when his foot slipped slightly. But instead of just laying on the floor, he sprinted all the way back to make sure that it didn’t cost the team. What a guy…I hope he stays with us in whatever capacity for a good long while.

The only person with a bigger smile on his chops than Mo is… his agent

Our away goal scoring this season so far has been Insane.

The last 3 games for example we have scored 13. Considering 2 of those opponents were Atletico, who are probably up there with the best defensively organised teams in world football and Man United, who just don’t concede 5 at home (very often)

This team is insane

Another problem United have is Ronaldo.
He causes more problems than he solves.
He is nowhere near the player the used to be for a start. Does even less tracking back and making runs. The stats show last year that his work rate has dropped dramatically and although scored a few mostly were tap ins and headers from 6 yards.
Also Ollie is clearly scared/in awe of him as he should’ve been hooked at half time as he was lucky to still be on the pitch but was just walking around sulking.
But then Ollie takes off Greenwood and Rashford who ok weren’t having their best game but do run. He then takes off Fernandes and puts in Cavani so everyone who can put in a decent cross is now off the pitch - Ronaldo doesn’t get subbed but is even worse 2nd half.
Meanwhile Jaden Sancho is again an unused sub.
United are top heavy with no balance in the midfield and poor defenders. They don’t have a hope in hell of winning anything. No clean sheets for 21 games I think I heard.
Still, it’s not our problem but I think Ronaldo causes more problems than he solves and it’s hidden by grabbing a winner in the last 2 CL games against far inferior opponents.
Everyone said that they wouldn’t get away with it against a top team and look what’s happened.

When a players former teammates celebrate your new player leaving, it’s time to worry.

“You haven’t got a fucking clue. We (the fans) have more of a clue.”

Then in the next sentence:

“They have Pogba sitting on the bench!”

That’s the beauty of United. Even the fans are clueless and don’t really understand what ‘balance’ is.
