Sorry about that!

I think we will have to suffer some more before we get rid of them at Anfield.

Didn’t see the match but voted in the MotM poll anyway. Becker, Elliot, Nunez of course.

So it’s halftime and we’re winning one nil against a really good team. We have to take the game to them in the second half without leaving ourselves too exposed.

I will be getting up very early next Thursday morning.

Just watched the game and the result is all that matters.

The performance from Ali was the best I have seen from a keeper ever, he saved our

We defended ok and got better but it was nowhere near as good as the City masterclass as they had too many half chances and against most keepers would have got a couple of goals.

My biggest thing from the game is there seemed no plan in trying to control the game with possession, although at times we couldn’t wind, we did start well, then they started to pressure us and we went long and hopeful and until Nunez came on they dealt with it too easily.

Also, with Arne saying to the players about PSG having possession, it gets in players heads and for me became a self fulfilling prophecy and the 1st half we were too slow, too respectful and lacked our usual intensity defensively.

BTW Jones was great when he came on.

Last thing we won so utterly brilliant win from what I thought was below our normal level.

There is no way that’s a foul let alone red card. Salah gets nudged like that every time. The fucking commentary today was a disgrace. TNT sports is supposed to be a British channel. The way they were fellating PSG, it was embarrassing. Including the main commentator going “VAR has gone Liverpool’s way”

You mean there was a clear offside and just a coming together in the penalty box you blind motherfucker??

Because of how well and how dominant PSG were, especially in the 1hf, I think we may be overlooking what was a quite resilient performance for a team that was not playing well and had to ride its luck.

Especially in the 2hf when they forced PSG to shoot from outside the box, and stopped the overloads in the wide areas.

Also thought Trent defended well.

This game highlights the next level that Gravenberch needs to get to.

If you are talking about Konate, that was a foul he just charged their player in the back, luckily the VAR supported the onfield decision.

Also, I don’t care if you say it happens to Mo all the time, if it does/did I would be on here lambasting the ref, a bad devision is a bad decision no matter who it goes against.

No fucking way. Barcola was not in control of the ball, They took their time looking at that one and it was clear. The tnt sports boys just wanted to make a scene.

I don’t care what TNT said there was a clear push in the back

He. Was.not. In.control. Of. The .ball.

Pushes happen in the penalty area all the time. That doesn’t make it a foul let alone a penalty.

I thought it was the kind of on field decision you’ll get from a proper ref, who’s keeping up with the game…

Also notice that while the PSG players questioned the ref, they weren’t losing their minds over it like they would had it been a genuine foul. Barcola himself was quite calm about it.
