He didn’t have the chance to be in control of the ball because Ibou pushed him in the back before he had chance to control it.

Supposedly the reason is it isn’t a clear an obvious error, nothing to do with being in control of the ball.

I do have arguments with people about offsides, as they say change the rule for whatever is the flavour of the month, doesn’t matter what you do it will still be down to fine margins, if you are off you are off, simple, distance doesn’t mattet

Konate was interviewed by a reporter from l’équipe and he said it would have been dead soft and in his opinion it was not a foul as his elbow only touched barcola and he didn’t shove him. Their cries were they robbed by the ref. They had a relatively low XG due to where their shots were from but it felt liked they had better chances than the XG shows, which is due to the quality of their shooting as several were flying in to the corners until our superman flew left, right and centre to stop them
