Pre and In Match | Liverpool vs Bournemouth | PL Match Day 3 | Saturday 27th August 15:00 | Anfield

You won’t be making jokes when I’m flagging all your posts for severe mental distress & failure to adhere to simplistic forum guidelines.

Nah I’m kiddin’ who does that anyway.

Always knew you were a dodgy 1.

No you haven’t, go away.

I was joking, have no beef with you, maybe relax…

Kind of disagree with his attacking stats being pointless, and just thought to disagree with a joke.
I know you get some beef here so it’s easy to jump, but was not my intention.

Totally nullified if the wingers play so wide and don’t cut in imo…but that said, he does need to find his pressing back.

But did I say his attacking stats were pointless though?

I said if you’re gonna put up stats of a player…that happens to play in defence…first and foremost you want to see what his defensive stats are like, this is common sense.

It is concerning. Someone called Carra a prick for stating that the team against United wasn’t far from our first 11. But Carra was right. We have some proper issues that need addressed asap, without hoping for a Jurgen miracle

Klopp’s done his pre-match presser.

On injuries;

Kelleher also due back next week.

Keïta is still not clear he said …

It looked to me (maybe my bad) as if you meant that just putting attacking stats and not defensive, is deceptive (that the intention was to hide the flaw), thus pointless.

But I think that the offensive stats where there to make a point that despite his defensive shortcomings, Trent is useful to the team and just needs to improve his defensive form (not ability, but form).
Which is obviously why defensive stats were missing - because the graph with the offensive stats agrees about the defensive shortcomings, and wanted to make the point of what he brought to the game in these horrible first three games.

So I think it comes down to two different interpretations of the graph.
I think we both agree that Trent didn’t defend well these three games, I think we probably both agree that Trent was useful to the team, but that you read the stats as trying to deceive by omitting the defensive stats, where I read them as putting the defensive stats aside because there’s no question that they’re not good, and wanted to show that Trent still contributes.

Certaintly a good thing for the CL.

A bit tired of saying it’s a Must Win, but it’s a Must Win, both this game and the next 10 really, considering our start.
I think we will beat them, but I doubt we will play fantastic Liverpool football.

Don’t really care at the moment. Just want points.

Every game is a must win though.

If we start going into games not being arsed about winning we may as well be called Everton.

The transfer window is must win for them.

Matchday and I am back to being really positive about today as disappointed I was a week ago. Last week United would have felt that they might be looking at another season of misery and mediocrity, but how easily one game has turned the mood around. Don’t think they are suddenly going to challenge for title, nor do I think we’ll have a complete written off season.

Glad we have Jurgen and if there’s one person I would have hoped as our manager at this time, it’s him. Win this, have few of our players back, and things could really start looking better again! Just three games in and the players know they aren’t performing to their levels and expectations. Expecting a response tonight from the lads.

Hope all has been well with you.

Welcome back after 6 months off - ironically our actual @Colossal_centre_back who plays in red has also been MIA for a part of that. Hopefully he’s back to 100% if you’re back and posting regularly (is that an incentive or what?!).
