Bring Salah and Diaz’s starting position to between the full back and the CB, not the FB and the touchline. There are no passing options when we go forward because everyone is standing on the wing.

The first 25 minutes United were the better team after that we were the problem is scoring and not for the first time.

Last 10 min we were competitive, but didn’t really create big chances.
First 35 we were bullied and pushed over by a team that played superior football. Hurts to say, but they were miles better than us in the first 35.
I would like to think we could turn this around, but then I look at our bench. Big 15 min for Klopp to somehow mentally unscrew and then re-screw our team and give us an entirely different Liverpool in the second half. Because this was no where near good enough when United actually plays well.

In the last 10 mins, Salah started to come in more, and we looked better. Dalot on yellow, so Diaz should occupy him. Andy needs to give support to Diaz, and combine more down the left.

By our standards we’ve been pretty shit. Milner has been crap. For a supposedly experienced player he has pretty much ruined all our promising balls in the final third. Just because you run longer than anyone doesn’t mean you play better.
That was my Milner rant.

Need to exploit their right hand side as much as possible. Both Dalot and Varane on yellows means that Diaz/Robbo should be able to make good combining runs on that side and get some joy. Bobby is playing well, and Elliott is looking alright. Fab for Milner at HT, and let Hendo push up a bit more and rotate over to help out Trent when needed.
In fairness to united, they’re responding to Ten Hag after those two defeats, we just need to exploit the still-obvious flaws in their team.

I have been watching and at least Milly is involved Hendo has offered little protection and not been an outlet when the ball is at the back, Milly has made lots of runs and been involved. They are playing different positions, but Hendo needs to impose himself on the game and dictate from his position
