Gakpo seems to have regained form/confidence from being on the left and working from a touch deeper - when it’s not broken, don’t fix it was my thinking on retaining him on the left.

I have watched enough of these derby games to know they are rarely easy and especially at Goodison. Our record there has not been great under Jürgen. There have been too many draws and I have often felt we have played too cautiously. Let’s hope that they will not be able to claim they ended our chances of the title. That would be a tough one to take.

Danns is going score tonight.
The physical part. Everton have 4 huge thugs in the midfield. Endo is always up for a scrap but there’s always a chance that he gets muscled off.
