Well you have ready access to AFL. That’s a superb alternative.

‘superb’??

I presume you meant sub par?

Wut AFL is great fun! I dont fully understand the rules but I like it when two players randomly start shoving each other with no expressions on their faces.

Hip and shoulder? Shirt fronting?
There’s a reason AFL never took off anywhere else

Mostly cause the rest of world is soft

Urgent :rotating_light::rotating_light:

If Liverpool violates the FIFA decision and enters its Brazilian players in the Leeds match, the result will be 3-0 to Leeds.

If Leeds also includes Rafinha, FIFA will consider the two teams as losers and award points to Arsenal as a donation.

I think I saw Tyler Morton, Elijah Dixon-Bonner and Kaide Gordon training with the first team.

Heard Klopp will play these 3 youth players against Leeds.

What makes a mockery is the fact that they are allowing one player to play due to “good relations” surely you can’t pick and choose who you ban, surely it’s all or none?

Also I’m not sure how FIFA can enforce a result on the PL.

Utterly ridiculous, the clubs lawyers will have a field day with this it has so many holes in it.

I’d tell the Brazilian FA to do one and if they dont like it tell them we will proceed with legal action.

It’s all just posturing, Brazilian FA have to tell their fans they are doing something. They will be allowed to play after issued a warning and FA and clubs will pledge to work with Fifa to work out a process to ‘prevent future incidences’

Sounds corrupt as fuck imo. Tell the Brazilian FA to pay two weeks wages of all the Brazilian lads called up and watch their stance change.

If it was blanket it’s a shit rule but at least it’s unfair to everyone, picking and choosing who you allow to play even though you don’t pay them anything is a joke.

And it’s not like they needed anyone

The thing I’d be doing right now is explaining to our Brazilian lads that the Brazilian FA give such little a fuck about you they would see you sit in a hotel room for ten days throwing all the fitness and conditioning you’ve worked so hard on down the toilet.

What do they expect here? That Fabinho sits in a travel lodge for ten days, then has to basically do another pre-season to get in shape, then just as he is ready to play again, he has to go on the October international break.

How about a lawsuit to the Brazilian FA demanding the cover the wages of Alisson, Fabinho and Firmino for the entire period they are unable to play football, including Quarantine and the building their fitness again. Would be millions.

What’s his position?

I think he’s against the ban as well, in principle.

Oh, by the way Brazil in their infinite wisdom, don’t pick Alisson, Fabinho or Firmino.

So lads, here is the deal. You fly out from the UK to Brazil, which is on the red list. You sit on the bench for three games (yeah three game, we sneaked an extra one in there) and then you fly back to the UK, sit in a Travel Lodge for ten days while your conditioning and fitness ebbs away. Then you can go back to Liverpool and essentially have to do pre-season again. You should be ready to play in time for the next international break, at which point we’ll fuck you up all over again.

No chance. Liverpool, Leeds, City and United, et al should be working together to get this put in front of CAS.

Leeds team news from WhoScored:

  • Marcelo Bielsa has fielded a back three in recent draws with Everton and Burnley but may revert to his usual 4-1-4-1 having dominated possession in the last meeting between these sides in that formation.
  • Mateusz Klich and Junior Firpo tested positive for COVID-19 before the break and will need assessing prior to this one.
  • Klich’s absence would leave Leeds a bit short in midfield. Pascal Struijk may have to move forward as a result, while Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton are pushing for a first start.
  • New signing Dan James could come in for an immediate debut after the Brazilian FA invoked a FIFA ruling banning their players - including Raphinha - from representing the clubs that refused to release them for international duty.
