Klopp in top form today, brilliant presser. From more global subjects to Trent’s position(s), etc.

Yeah the Trent quote was gold.

Can’t wait for the time we are 5-0 up at home, Klopp tells Trent to fill in at CM for a bit to get get Neco Williams some game time and someone in the media says “Ooooo so you do want to move him to CM?”

I’m really worried about Leeds’ defence.

Damn near impregnable.

I thought you was impregnatable - which I cannot argue against…

unlike with with cricket, golf or football - I’m being told practice isn’t making perfect…

It’s exactly the opposite: the more you try to impregnate @SBYM , the less perfect you are.

You should try Dr and Nurses with @SBYM. He’s said numerous times on this forum that it’s a favorite.

Yet more evidence that international breaks are deleterious

Thiago is half Brazilian so he can only do 45 minutes.

Are you an expert?

On your pubic hair? No.

Regarding our Brazilian players, it’s fascinating to me that an international federation would have ANY jurisdiction whatsoever over an employer.

Liverpool Football Club employs these men and pays their wages to do a specific job for their club to win matches in the most popular football league in the world. Essentially, these players are Liverpool’s investments. The club are on the hook if anything negative happens to these players that prevents them from doing their job from which they receive a very high wage.

I just spent a year in United States and they treat professional athletes so differently. The players unions have much more of a say and often times dictate terms to the clubs. I’ve learned in ice hockey, basketball, and baseball, the professional players themselves decide whether or not they want to represent their countries in international tournaments. Their clubs (franchises) are always nervous about releasing them to play in those tournaments for fear of injuries.
