I feel like we need this to some degree. Last season we lost games when basically we’d already sewn up the league. We’ve been complacent and sloppy for a while. We needed a mauling like this to get us to wake the fuck up. Am glad someone like Villa have given it to us rather than dropping points to a true title rival.
We need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down, slap ourselves in the face, and get back to being ruthless. Noticeable that our shittest performances from an attitude point of view nearly always come with Henderson off the pitch. Other so-called leaders need to step the fuck up.

Going against the grain but it’s completely the tactics. If the defence you have is shaky then you can’t have them sit on the halfway line.

I’ve supported Liverpool since the early 90s when we were shit most weeks.
However this is the best Liverpool side I’ve ever seen BUT this is the WORST Liverpool performance I’ve ever seen.
