I actually think we’ll go with the same back 4; Frimpong, Jacquet, vDijk and Kerkez.
Can see Szoboszlai in midfield with one of Gravenberch or Mac Allister. I think we’ll go with Gravenberch here.
Munoz on the right, Wirtz central and Gakpo on the left. Isak up top. Barcola probably off the bench and to get his first minutes.

I have a sneaking that he might start Cody on the right again because he might as well get used to playing there with Barcola coming in. He was also very useful in a new role there. I’d start Munoz on the left where he’s probably not as good as the right but still pretty effective.
I’d do this except Dom in for Frimpong. Barcola off the bench. Macca as a midfield sub.

Enciso would be a loss for them, he’s looked good so far.
Was my dark horse fantasy pick. Realised being in Munich this game kicks off at 9pm here, got to find a place to watch.

I just made 3 transfers and so I’m at -4 on the Fantasy Prem before a ball is kicked. My lad is already sitting with a comfortable lead in our head-to-head.
Still, I added Barcola to my side. I think in real life he will start on the bench, but will score a lovely brace when he comes on and announces himself to the Prem.

Araujo has looked pretty good so far and you wonder if he can be a starting RB if Frimpong is not chosen. Or even a starting CB this game or next.
No way should Dom be at RB.

I think this the most likely line-up for this game, i.e. 4-2-3-1 and pretty much no change other than who the midfield two are out of Dom, Grav and Mac.
I can’t see Iraola making line-up changes this early in the season other than to bring in Barcola and move Gakpo to the right, which we might see against Atleti.

It’s the best time to play Nyoni IMO. He was our best midfielder in pre-season, looks sharp, and showed promise in the last game. We’re only facing a newly promoted team, with a Champions League game midweek — if we can’t trust him to play vs Ipswich Town, then I don’t know how we can expect him to replace the 2,000 minutes Curtis Jones played in the league.

I think he needs more time. He hasn’t looked that good to me however I’m putting that down to 'ot fully integrated yet. He seems a bit slow for a RB role though. Perhaps Jacquet could do a bit out there?
Iraola expects Barcola to be in the squad for Friday.
He is also very happy with Cody and has spoken with him since the decision was made for him to stay.
Iraola also says he is happy with the wide players available to him and says they can cover both the right and left flanks.

That doesn’t surprise me. His problems seem to be midfield and to an extent defence. Didn’t he get asked about the midfield?

He was asked about Dom at RB
Apparently he said he was very happy with the midfield too, that Grav Mac and Dom could get into any midfield in world football and that Nyoni and Endo were the future.

I’m not that bothered about our midfield personnel. More the tactical changes necessary and integration. We’re just not a coherent unit ATM. It could come but how long might it take?
