Damn, completely forgot this match is today, not on the weekend.
Are there more of these Friday matches this season? Or am I just noticing it because we have one early in the season?

I think there is one scheduled for every weekend, it’s just that we tend to avoid them due to the number of midweek games we play.
Initial reaction “wow, you’re off the Iraola bus already? That’s harsh!”
FWIW though, I do like O Neil, and am glad he’s been given another shot at the Prem. It’s unfortunate he’s the type of manager who only seems to get shots with bottom feeders destined for relegation and so no matter how admirably he does with them it will be glossed over by the inevitable struggles to get results. Them performing very creditably last week until that controversial goal and then collapsing on the injustice of it is seemingly his lot in life as a manager now.
The interesting thing for today’s game is if the experiments with CM continue. That seemed to be the message from AI, that he’s looking to work on the combinations and maybe still looking for the best of what he has available. I thought there was an improvement there with Mac in last week, but wonder if Trey is going to get a shot and if he does if one of the other two are viewed as a better compliment to him.
Up stupidly early, 3:30 am, excited and looking forward to the game
stupid game on stupid Sky!

Also, having been up since 5am and need to be up tomorrow at 5am means I won’t be able to watch it, so will be relying on the good and unbiased folkes of TAN to keep me updated.
Or should I throw reasonableness out the window and watch the unhinged deggs on Goldbridge?
I remember his alligator celebration
Tomorrow 1 AM Bangladesh Time, and I have office the day afrer.

Anyone else really looking forward to this? I’ve had a grindingly hard week at work, but I have got some Erdingers in the fridge, the fish and chips is on the way, and for the first time in ages I am not looking towards the game with a sense of existential dread.
Same for me. I’m looking forward to it! ![]()
Is it too early in the season to be calling this a must win game for us?
That’s a bit of a banana skin there mate.
or is it too early in the season to be talking about banana skins?
Araujo right back?
Feel a bit for Frimpong.
At least some attacking options on bench if we need a goal or two.
Some capable (and one very expensive!) players on the bench.
Barcola brace from the bench. I am looking forward to this. Although I expect Ipswich to put up a fight after a heavy loss last time out.
No Nyoni again.
Iraola out.
In all seriousness, it’s really annoying that still can’t get a start.
Probably going to take a few games of our midfield stinking the place out or him coming on in the second half and saving us a game.
