Well I will back Illok here in respect to Grav’s passing, I actually think Endo is a better progressive passer of the ball than Grav.
However, he does take time in a game to overcome being pressed, which doesn’t happen in a lot of our games.
If someone is saying they want us to lose on Saturday, they aren’t a Liverpool supporter.

There was a period during Hodgson that I didn’t care but we are far from that here. We could still do a lot these season and Slot won’t be going anywhere until the summer I reckon now.
Also the fairytale of Dalglish coming back was quite something to hang on to. Klopp isn’t going step back into the fold and I’m not sure if I’d want him too or for the club to do that. What are currently the alternatives? Unless Madrid chew up and spit out Xabi there is no one.
I am at a point where Slot would have to do a lot to get my full backing to go again but I have slightly come down a bit from a couple of games ago.

Arne Slot’s pre match press conference. A selection of misheard and mistyped observations:

- What steps taken to turn things around? Last two games were better. Opponent only scored from a deflection. Positives in improvements from new players.
- Mo - benching and potential starting? Mo has been exceptional and is always in Slot’s mind to start.
- Leeds - are their change of tactics problematic? Slot watched their games against Chelsea. The can be offensive and then go to a low block. Expect the usual.
- Is Slot expecting a physical test? Yes. (didn’t say “dirty Leeds”!) Leeds fans are a big support for them.
- Top 4. First aim is to get Top 4.
- Chiesa - to start? (Arne leans what “cameo” means) He has impact off bench. Good mentality.
- Wirtz confidence? Confidence good despite not scoring. Keeps trying and is creative.
- Team News? Gomez had a knock but is training today. Bradley has trained and is available.
- Gakpo - competition? Playing a lot gives confidence. Not playing Hugo on left because Isak not available for every game. Rio has had minutes for a 17 year old. Cody not suffering through lack of competition.
- Hungarian journalist about Dom. Will he play central area? Yes he will, he has been playing other positions because he is adaptable and has been covering injuries. He will be used in middle long term.
- (couldn’t hear question). No. 9 not involved as much. (asume Isak). We need to get him more involved.
- Few touches for Isak is not ideal but not untypical for a striker.
- Harvey Elliott - not much contact, Slot aware of his situation. Ask questions to Villa.
TLDR: Bradley should be available. We play Leeds on Saturday teatime.

I don’t understand that line of thinking. Yes, he gets sacked a bit earlier, but imo extremely likely he will leave “by mutual consent” in the summer anyway, and we need the points to get a better placement and so a better ramp for next season.

MO’s value to LFC is akin to a treasure chest full of Gold coin. With his departure from Anfield on the cards in the near future, handling him with kid gloves in the meantime, might be the most lucrative way to replenish the transfer coffers.
What we see with MO, is a financial asset to the club if he departs on good terms; without screwing us over; and at the right time to secure a huge transfer fee…
Hard to remember a time, if ever, when the tail wagged the dog at Anfield… but with plenty of Camel Racing winnings burning a hole in the chest and side pockets in the thobes of the many interested parties in the Saudi League… football has never had chance to move ageing players on for such high stakes before.
Looked at in a mercenary way, FSG could recover more funds into the kitty from selling MO to Saudi, than they would get from winning the PL title… Yes this season might be a write-off regards coming top of the league, but securing a higher bounty, could well come down to how MO is treated this season..!
Something that doesn’t imply that Mo deserves gametime because of his record. If necessary, he’s been asked to play differently from how he was before, that he has to fight for his place and that others are also in contention to start.

The bloke just won ALL the individual accolades in a league-winning season. It hasn’t even been half a season yet. Okay, things aren’t working out at the moment, but you want Slot to have unkind words about him? In a press conference? What good will that do other than having a player lose faith in a manager?
